The corrected unit was installed on Tuesday, January 6th. Per the customer’s request, the unit was cut down to avoid wrinkling. Accordingly, the cut does not allow the unit to open/close properly. As a courtesy, we left the blind hanging in the customer's home, and will reorder

The customer had asked to apply his refund to the purchase of another product in order to complete his job. As a customer service gesture, we provided a full refund back to the customer's credit card

I am rejecting this response because:
The company did not grant me a full refund. This is false. The...

fact that the company consistently gives false statements tells a lot about the integrity of the company. An associate from the company, named [redacted], called me yesterday and offered that I could exchange my purchase for something else. She did at no time offer me a refund. If the company were to offer me a full refund I prefer to get a full refund. If this offer of a full refund is true, I want a full refund!

I am rejecting this response because:
Lord. As a courtesy? These blinds have been on order since approximately 9-22-14. One would presume that most definitely (out of good business practice) that the retail establishment would allow us to keep the blinds that were first measured too long (taken back and then re-measured incorrectly) and cut too short. Would there have been any other alternative (from a customer service perspective) to not leave the blinds other than to leave us with the paper coverings we have been living with for three months? I was not annoyed about what occurred (yesterday) on the sixth of January. I am annoyed at the entitlement's that states we made another measurement mistake but don't worry we'll allow you to keep this mistake and re-order the same blind from the manufacturer. I'm not a professional window measurer and/or installer. I rely upon the acumen of this establishment and their employees to measure accurately. That they have not been very successful at  accomplishing this is not our fault. So we will live with their doing us a "favor" until it takes another 3  months to get this right.  Who by the way wrote this response? I've asked to speak with the owner and/or regional manger and was refused access to do so.

[redacted]

On 7/17/14, customer placed a special ordered item that they had seen on the manufacturer website.  Our company policy states that special ordered items are not returnable/nonrefundable.  The customer was informed of the policy and signed off on it acknowledging their confirmation. ...

Customer paid $1500 as a deposit, and still owes us a balance of $1746.48.  This material has sat at our warehouse for two months.  This special ordered product is not stocked by the local distributor and they will not take it back.  We also contacted the manufacturer, and they will not take back the product.

We satisfied the customer, and issued a refund on 11/13/14

Review: I've served in the military for 22 years and have encountered countless combat situations and still been capable of keeping a cool head. I've been in Oklahoma for 10 days and for the 1st time in over 20 years I almost lost my cool to reciprocate the attitude and treatment I received from the manager of Circle K, 14 Jun 2012 @ 1200pm.I entered to redeem scratch off tickets and the service I received from other employees was outstanding. After discussing calmly about the difference in winnings and pay out for one card in particular-a card that the employee had already identified as troublesome, the manager decided to interject. At no time was the exchange between myself and the attending employee anything other than playful and good humored however the exchange between the manager and I was embarrassing to the Circle K Corporation. I endured condescending and an extremely loud berating from the manager. I made several attempts to simply stop him from saying anything further but situational awareness indicated he would stop yelling when he stopped yelling. At the conclusion of his verbal attack the attending employee returned to the forefront of the conversation, looked apologetic and through body language apologized for her managers behavior. I told her it wasn't a problem I just did not appreciate being yelled at. Still staying level headed, the Circle K manager decided to interject again by telling me I hadn't heard yelling and if I wanted to he'd be happy to accommodate me. Exasperated by his behavior and his implied threat I finally lost some control challenging him. This left him speechless finally! I left the store and the manager followed me outside and publically and invited me to visit him when he got off duty which was a true threat of physical danger. Unfortunately, enough was enough and I turned to engage him. He quickly reentered the store. When I opened the door he loudly refused my entry proceeded to threaten me with calling the police.I know this is childish however, the total situation was instigated by a store manager, who had no grounds to even interact with me and upon choosing to, chose a stance and delivery that never even hinted on professionalism, customer service or even basic human dignity. Those things above all other are what caused me to act uncharacteristically. As a person and definitely as a soldier I have endured some horrible things but I never expected to be met with such hostility or treated like the enemy within 10 days of not only entering Oklahoma State but also returning to the United States after a 7 year tour abroad.Any assistance you could offer on the situation would greatly be appreciated. I only seek to prevent anyone else from having to endure what I encountered today. A similar situation with a less level headed individual would lead to violence. Ironically, as a form of defense against an individual who should epitomize level headedness and tolerance. A manager at a Circle K convenience store that is now off limits to me and my family even though it is less than 5 minutes away. Great Welcome! Product_Or_Service: Scratch off TicketsDesired Settlement: DesiredSettlementID: Other (requires explanation) A written apology from the manager, not the corporation who hired him in good faith.

Review: On March 31,2013, I purchased an Ultimate Car Wash at Circle K #[redacted] on [redacted] and [redacted] in [redacted]. As I drove my new car into Circle K's advertised "Quality Car Wash" my wheels struck a guidance pipe. It damaged my wheels, broke off a valve stem and rendered my car undrivable. This guidance pipe is at an angle, with the center of the pipe about 4.5 inches off the floor at the closest point to a vehicle and is only 3 feet long. This guidance pipe is to high to bump the tires of many of the new cars. All it does is damage the rims. The design of this car wash is outdated. It should not be used by new cars with the large rims and low profile tires, which is "Standard Equipment". It is pure negligence for Circle K to let this to continue to happen. It is obvious by the scares on the pipe that many of cars have been damaged. The tow truck driver told me that this was the second car he towed from there that week. So far Circle K's solution to this problem has been to shut off the wheel scrubber, so their machine does not touch the wheels, even though they are charging to scrub the wheels. Then their unsuspecting customers can not blame their machine on the wheel damage. If Circle K cared about it's customers it would remodel this car wash . The Circle K #[redacted] on [redacted] and [redacted] in [redacted] has a much better car wash. It has long guidance pipes with curved ends and is fastened right on the floor. It also has raised reflectors and plastic poles for alignment. I have contacted Circle K's risk management only to be told that my wheels are after market (which they are not) and it is operator error. An attorney has sent two demand letters, to hopefully settle this simply, but there has been no reply. The Revdex.com is my last hope before having to file a lawsuit and contact the media. This can not continue to happen!Desired Settlement: Reimbursement for the $9 car wash,$138.10 tow,$272.76 valve stem sensor and tire repair, $89.88 wheel alignment, and pay for the estimated $1142.16 to have the rims replaced. The total of $1651.90. Also I would like to see the car wash brought up to date or at least warning signs so no more cars get damaged.

This

letter is being sent in response to a recent complaint filed concerning an

incident that occurred in the car wash of our store #[redacted], located in

[redacted], Arizona on March 31,2013.

Our

investigation into this complaint concluded that there was no negligence on the part of Circle K and or its employees. It was determined through the questioning of

employees as well as the review of the photographic evidence of the equipment

inside the car wash that there were no defects with the guide rails and or the

wheel scrubber that could have incurred the alleged damage to the claimants tire

and rim. All Circle K car washes have specific signage posted at the entrances instructing customers to align the vehicle between the guide rails located on the ground in the car

wash. It is our position that the damage sustained by the vehicle in the car

wash was the direct result of driver error specifically failing to align the vehicle correctly between (the two guide

rails and striking the rail on the left side of the vehicle. It is for this reason we respectfully informed

the claimant that we denied his claim on 4/28/2013.

On

June 20, 2013 Circle K received a Subrogation Request from the law firm [redacted] for the

claimant's damages. A response denying any liability was sent via fax to the

law firm on 6/24/2013.

Thank

you for giving Circle K the opportunity to review this matter. We remain

consistent with our denial of the claimant's damages.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

I do not except Circle K’s response for the damages their car wash at store #[redacted], located in [redacted] not [redacted] as they stated, caused to my car. These damages caused by this car wash are fact, not alleged, considering my value stem and cap were recovered right behind the guidance pipe where this damage accrued. I did not state Circle K’s car wash equipment is defective. Although Circle K is knowingly advertising and charging customers to have their wheels scrubbed yet the wheel scrubbers are turn off. This car wash is simply outdated; it is not designed to be used by the new cars with low profile tires. There is no sign stating this. The guidance pipes are elevated, not mounted on the floor. If the guidance pipes were mounted on the floor they would bump on the tires like they are designed to do. With them elevated they are causing unnecessary damage and expenses for unsuspecting customers. Considering there is only 6 inches of space on each side of the car between the guidance pipes, how can one say it is driver error when the guidance pipes are elevated and not performing the task they were designed for? With so many cars and more models manufactured every year with the low profile tires, a person would think they would want to correct this problem. Yet Circle K continues to deny their responsibility as a business. To fix this problem would cost far less than the damage they are inflecting on their customers. If their customers knew the seriousness of this car wash they would not even go through it. I am appalled by Circle K’s handling of this issue. A considerate and responsible business would have fixed this problem immediately. At least post a sign stating the seriousness of entering the car wash with low profile tires. Since Circle K has not taken any action, this would make them negligent.

I have attached photos of this carwash, the damage to my car, and photos of a car wash that was designed with the safety of the customer’s cars in mind.

Sincerely,

Regards,

Response:

Although we realize we will never make every customer 100% satisfied 100% of the time, we make every effort to resolve issues brought to our attention. In this instance, Mr. [redacted]’s complaint regarding the car wash in question has been subjected to further investigation. Not only have we observed other customers with low profile tires use the car wash in question, we have had no other complaints either before or after Mr. [redacted]’s incident from any other customers with low profile tires.

This location has the standard design and height of most c-store rollover car washes. We have conducted and completed a comprehensive investigation and it is our contention that it is the consumer’s responsibility to be aware of the potential for damages should they not enter or exit the car wash correctly.

Even though we contend there is no liability on the part of our store, in an effort to settle this matter, as a customer courtesy Circle K is willing to offer Mr. [redacted] $350 toward any damages he believes are attributed to utilizing this location’s car wash facility.

Thank you for the opportunity to respond.
