On May 24, 2014 [redacted] ordered a Hydro Spa hot tub cover from us. It was to be delivered to his home when the cover was done. These covers are custom made for the customer. [redacted] provided us with the... incorrect model type of the hot tub. Due to this incorrect information the spa cover does not fit on his hot tub. When we advised [redacted] about the issue she became aggressive and belligerent, cursing at myself and the co-workers present. We have not heard anything from the [redacted] until we received this letter from the RevDex.com. Unfortunately the cover was custom made to the specifications that [redacted] provided to us and we are unable to refund the cost of the cover or return the cover to the manufacturer because it is a custom made item.
I started working with Rizzo Pools to fix a leak in my pool During one of the many return visits to our house, one of their trucks damaged my garage doorI informed the owner, who immediately took responsibility and agreed to get it fixedAfter months of getting no where I called and scheduled the door to be fixed I shared the quote with MrG [redacted] who agreed to pay for it After the door was replaced and I paid the contractor, MrG [redacted] claimed that a check was "in mail" After a week, I contacted MrG [redacted] and was told "it must have gotten lost" and that they would drop one off at the end of the week Again, no check So I contacted MrG [redacted] again, and was told that they would issue another check Again a week went by with no check Finally after a phone call, we received a check The next day we received an invoice for almost the same amount as the check dated the same day as the invoiceI called MrG [redacted] to discuss but got his voicemail I received no return phone call months later, I received another invoice with late fees I sent an email stating that I wished to discuss but his response was that we had nothing to discuss and that the bills were past due and accruing late fees
Moved to a house with a pool year ago, and continued to use Rizzo for routine maintenance and repairsHired them to paint and retile my pool this past summerA job that should have taken week took over a monthThey put a first coat of paint on it, and it bubbledThe crew then was out of touch for daysThey came back after month and put a hastily applied second coat on, that left a lot of holidaysA sealer that was applied between tiles and deck then cracked, and started to flake off into the poolNo response to two lettersOn top of that, I made the mistake of paying 60% in cash before the job was started, only for them to bill me as if I had paid them $less than what I paid themTheir reply to the cracked and peeling sealer was that "I don't know why they put that on there, you don't really need it, and we'll take it off, but if you want us to seal it, we'd have to charge you extra." The whole thing was a nightmareThere have to be better places to do business with
