I am writing in response to the complaint [redacted] filed against CIS Insurance groupI understand that [redacted] is disappointed in the fact that Auto owners is not paying her claimIn order for water damage to be covered it has to be “sudden and accidental” , that is why they have the day notice in the policyWe do not have an insurance company that we write for that is differentThis claim, was the result of a maintenance issue, the crack in the condensation unitThe intent of insurance is to cover ‘accidental” or unexpected damages, not the maintenance of the building Again, I understand ***’s frustration with the claim, We as agents are required to file the claim and then the adjuster handles the investigation and payment, which we monitorWhen we found out the reason for denial, the agent of record, [redacted] then called the insured to follow up with herIf there was any gray area as to the cause we would have been able to advocate for our insured, but it was clearly a maintenance issueThank you for the opportunity to respond to the complaint [redacted] ***, C.I.C Owner CIS Insurance Group N 4th St suite Tomahawk, WI 715-453-

the fact that Auto owners is not paying her claim. In order for water damage to be covered it has to be “sudden and accidental” , that is why they have the 14 day notice in the policy. We do not have an insurance company that we write for that is different. This claim, was the result of a maintenance issue, the crack in the condensation unit. The intent of insurance is to cover ‘accidental” or unexpected damages, not the maintenance of the building. 
Again, I understand [redacted]’s frustration with the claim, We as agents are required to file the claim and then the adjuster handles the investigation and payment, which we monitor. When we found out the reason for denial, the agent of record, [redacted] then called the insured to follow up with her. If there was any gray area as to the cause we would have been able to advocate for our insured, but it was clearly a maintenance issue.
