Cisneros Contracting

I am writing to share my experience with Cisneros Contracting. I contacted Mike in May to inquire about weekly maintenance on our yard. In the beginning he was very eager to meet with me to take a look at our yard. However, he was going to be out of town for a couple of weeks so he said he would contact me upon his return to set up a meeting time. We have a very large back yard and a fairly big front yard as well. We met and went over everything we wanted. He sent a proposal 2 weeks later. We went on vacation for 1 week and contacted him when we returned to meet to go over the proposal. It was the middle of June by this point. He said he could start our job in September! That is when he started stringing us along. He said he needed to revise the proposal. He sent us a revised proposal which was significantly more than the first and we actually cut down on the work he was going to originally do! He also said that he couldn't start until October! I just contacted him to see if we could finalize everything (it's September 14th!) and he told me that he doesn't want to take the job because the money just isn't enough! He's the one that came up with the price in the first place and then reneged on it! He is extremely unprofessional! Several times I asked to meet with him, he replied with a date and time and if I didn't respond within a few hours he booked the time with someone else and we had to start over! Yet when I emailed him he wouldn't respond for days! I would never do business with a guy like this! He strung us along from May until September! I could have found someone else in that time! Instead I have to start the process over again. Maybe he is better for small jobs and ours was just too big for him to handle.
