Bought a travel trailer from a friendThought my 3/4-ton pickup would tow it easilyWRONG! It was all over the road on I-75, scared wife and me! Jeff and Dan installed upgraded load-leveling equipment on truck and trailerNow the truck rides and handles better on the highway with the trailer behind it than it did when it was just the truck alone!

I recently purchased a pre-owned RV from another dealer out of the area and required the engine & generator serviced and find out why I was having problem with low voltage system I found the service at Charlotte RV & Marine center excellent They located my electrical problem, serviced the engine and generator and did an overall checkup on the RV I am writing this review because I was not sure where to take my RV so wanted to share my positive experience I would use their service again

I went to Charlotte RV and Marine and what a great experienceAnd looks like they did an excellent job

In Iate July I found a Diesel Motorhome on the web from Charlotte RV at a very fair value Even after reviewing a slew of pictures and a video of the unit and having several phone and email communications, I was pretty nervous as I am located miles away in another state Dealing with a company you've never done business with before and so far away on a very large purchase can be a bit unnerving! My fears were unfounded The folks at Charlotte RV have been great to work with from working through the details of the deal to all the final closure items after the sale I want to mention a couple of things in particular: 1) My wife and I were given all the time we needed to inspect the unit I'm not new to RV's and had a long list of things to check out We did find a couple of items needing some repair and those repairs were taken care of immediately 2) The staff pointed out to me that when they tried to roll out the power awning the motor was a bit weak The awning would come out fine, but needed a little "help" to go back in Since we needed to turn around and head back to Minnesota immediately, they advised they would send me a motor and check for labor to have the power unit replaced by a local dealer near my home They could have easily hidden this defect but openly exposed it and made compensation for it To me, this says a lot about their practices 3) They allowed me all the time I needed to review the documents I needed to sign I'm a stickler on contracts and understanding what I sign and they were very accommodating 4) In late August The State of Florida had not provided the title and my day temp tag was running out They called the state license agency and even though it appeared the title would get to me at the last minute, because I had a Labor Day Camping trip planned, they overnighted another day tag to me just to be sure I was covered for my trip The title did arrive on the last day possible, but it was reassurancing to know that if it was a couple days late I was all set anyway I also had a nice surprise check in the mail one day as part of my registration fees that were unused were returned with a full accounting sheet of the actual costs included The folks at Charlotte RV were nice to deal with and followed through on all promises while showing good business ethics in their dealings with my wife and me I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone

I signed a contract for bi-weekly service with Castleton Lawn CareMy lawn is three separate sections - they only mowed twoI emailed Tina the same day and she assured me that she put notes on my account so the crew wouldn't miss againShe didn't send anyone out to fixTwo weeks later, they come for the second mowMiss the same section again! I have to call and demand they come back, at this point I have two feet of grass! Then the bill comesI didn't receive a discount for the lawn they didn't mow the first timeI email Tina about it and she says that it was mowed the second time and they didn't charge me for the extra work for the overgrown area (as they shouldn't since it was their fault they didn't mow or come to fix, instead they let it grow for another two weeks)They would rather lose a customer than give a 1/discount for the 1/of the lawn they didn't mowNot only did all this happen, but my contract states they will mow, trim and blowNot once did the edger come out nor did the blower come outSave your money and go with someone else! Dealing with this company isn't worth the hassle!

Great place, nice people! They have been in this town over years and have a great reputation for being able to fix things the other shops can't or wont

I have had the pleasure of doing business with Charlotte RV & Marine on two occasionsOne as an RV owner and the other as the organizer of a large non-profit animal related event in Charlotte County As an RV owner they overhauled our generator and did other repairs to our Class C motorhome in a timely and cost effective manorAs far as our non-profit event is concerned, they provided some very expensive equipment for our use at the event free of charge, and even delivered it, as a way of showing their commitment to the communityAnytime you can find a business that not only treats the customer great but also is comitted to his community, you know you are in good hands

I know most folks only look to Revdex.com after they have had a bad experience I often use Revdex.com before I buy But this is the first time that I have been so pleased with a company that I wanted to leave a review Scott the service manager took such good care of us when we broke-down on I- They rescued us off the road, gave us a place to stay, and fixed our problem promptly and at a very reasonable price I couldn't have asked for more caring and complete service

Fast serviceNice premisesStaff member very knowledgeable and courteousPrice reasonable and easy access!

My motorhome needed to have some items repaired I am new to Charlotte County so I asked at a few of the local RV resorts about where I could take my motorhome that would not rip me off Every single one of them told me to go to Charlotte RV Part of the repairs were covered by my Extended Service Agreement (warranty company) and Michael was very persistent to get that company to pay as much as they should He really went to bat for me, even though he could have been lazy about it and I would have had to pay more of the bill That is extremely good customer service in my book!
The repairs were done promptly and correctly I will definitely be a repeat customer and refer this place to others

I recently purchased a 2015 pre-owned RV from another dealer out of the area and required the engine & generator serviced and find out why I was having problem with low voltage system.

I found the service at Charlotte RV & Marine center excellent. They located my electrical problem, serviced the engine and generator and did an overall checkup on the RV.

I am writing this review because I was not sure where to take my RV so wanted to share my positive experience. I would use their service again.

All work was completed as requested. Gary pointed out two issues that will need attention in future. Gary replaced the missing key. All the people I came in contact were very professional and care about the customer.

In Iate July I found a Diesel Motorhome on the web from Charlotte RV at a very fair value. Even after reviewing a slew of pictures and a video of the unit and having several phone and email communications, I was pretty nervous as I am located 1600 miles away in another state. Dealing with a company you've never done business with before and so far away on a very large purchase can be a bit unnerving!

My fears were unfounded. The folks at Charlotte RV have been great to work with from working through the details of the deal to all the final closure items after the sale. I want to mention a couple of things in particular:

1) My wife and I were given all the time we needed to inspect the unit. I'm not new to RV's and had a long list of things to check out. We did find a couple of items needing some repair and those repairs were taken care of immediately.

2) The staff pointed out to me that when they tried to roll out the power awning the motor was a bit weak. The awning would come out fine, but needed a little "help" to go back in. Since we needed to turn around and head back to Minnesota immediately, they advised they would send me a motor and check for labor to have the power unit replaced by a local dealer near my home. They could have easily hidden this defect but openly exposed it and made compensation for it. To me, this says a lot about their practices.

3) They allowed me all the time I needed to review the documents I needed to sign. I'm a stickler on contracts and understanding what I sign and they were very accommodating.

4) In late August The State of Florida had not provided the title and my 30 day temp tag was running out. They called the state license agency and even though it appeared the title would get to me at the last minute, because I had a Labor Day Camping trip planned, they overnighted another 30 day tag to me just to be sure I was covered for my trip. The title did arrive on the last day possible, but it was reassurancing to know that if it was a couple days late I was all set anyway. I also had a nice surprise check in the mail one day as part of my registration fees that were unused were returned with a full accounting sheet of the actual costs included.

The folks at Charlotte RV were nice to deal with and followed through on all promises while showing good business ethics in their dealings with my wife and me. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

I emailed Tina the same day and she assured me that she put notes on my account so the crew wouldn't miss again. She didn't send anyone out to fix. Two weeks later, they come for the second mow. Miss the same section again! I have to call and demand they come back, at this point I have two feet of grass! Then the bill comes. I didn't receive a discount for the lawn they didn't mow the first time. I email Tina about it and she says that it was mowed the second time and they didn't charge me for the extra work for the overgrown area (as they shouldn't since it was their fault they didn't mow or come to fix, instead they let it grow for another two weeks). They would rather lose a customer than give a 1/3 discount for the 1/3 of the lawn they didn't mow. Not only did all this happen, but my contract states they will mow, trim and blow. Not once did the edger come out nor did the blower come out. Save your money and go with someone else! Dealing with this company isn't worth the hassle!

I was the victim of a classic bait and switch from Charlotte RV Center. I negotiated a price on an RV. They waited until two hours before close of business on the day before I was to look at it to send me a contract. By then I was on an airplane headed there. When I got there, I inspected the RV and presented them with cashiers check for the agreed on amount and they told the that they changed their mind and wanted an additional $1000.00. They figured I had already traveled that far, I wouldn't walk away. I did, I don't like being cheated and extorted.

The reason they told me they needed the extra money was that they had done unauthorized repairs on the RV without the owner's consent (it was a consignment). Don't consign your RV with them or they will try and jack up their profit by doing all types of unnecessary work on the RV.

Also your personal information is not safe with them. Instead of sending a contract in my name, they sent me a contract in the name of the person who's sale fell through - with a credit card receipt from their deposit.

AVOID THESE PEOPLE LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!

NOT ONLY ARE THEY UNETHICAL SCAMMERS, BUT THEY'RE INEPT TOO YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION IS NOT SAFE WITH THEM.
