The customer came in and asked for an front wheel alignment. The customer was asked to leave the car because there was still a couple cars...

ahead for an alignment also. After the front wheel alignment was done, the employee called for the customer to pick up their car. The customer drove the car home. he call back about 30 minute and say the shop scratch one of his rim.
I understand that we are the last person who touch his car. but if the customer feel like there may be something wrong with his car, he should inspect before he drove of the lot. and if he see something wrong he should notify the shop right away. not when he got home and say the shop scratch his rim.
I feel like while he took the car home, there may be something happened on the way, or the day before he took the car for an alignment but he just not notice. and now he put the blame on me.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2016/03/08) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I had to actually call the shop myself to see if my truck was ready, I never received a call from one of his employees.
I did notify the shop right away as soon as I seen the scrape. I picked up my truck about 12:30, I live about 10-15 minutes away from his shop. My phone redcords say that I called the shop at 12:55. Therefore leaving about 10 minutes to come inside grab my armoral, going outside start putting armorall on the tires, noticing the scratch, have my wife come outside to take pictures and contacting the tire shop. So I did notify him as soon as I seen the scrape.
And I never "feel" like anything would be wrong with my truck, so why would I inspect my truck before leaving.
When you take your vehicle to a professional business, in this case a tire shop, you entrust them with your vehicle. To take care of your property as if it was their own. And to get your vehicle back undamaged.
I took my truck in for an alignment, I didn't think I needed to inspect my truck for damage. I have been going there for years. I asked for the guy who always does my alignment and [redacted] said "He's not here today, I'm his brother, I do a good job to." Now look what happend, they damaged my rims and won't take responsibility for it. That is a horrible way to do business.
It doesn't matter how [redacted] feels, it's what the facts are. He even admitted to being the last one's to touch my truck. My truck was in their care last. My rims and tires were purchased the day before, there brand new, I purchased them right out the box.
To speculate that I damaged my own rims and tires when I just purchased them for $980.00 the day prior is ridiculous. They are brand new, it's not like had them for a few days or a week.
Also the alignment on my truck is still off, they didn't even do that right.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
The only option I have left is to take this to small claims court. See you in court.

I have no more comment to this complaint. [redacted], he change his story and I already explain everything.
