Amazing service. Store is super clean and employees are super helpful. I have gotten two puppies there. The first was 12 years ago and the second 6 months ago.

Hi

We go our puppy from Citipups back on April . What we were sold was a pure breed mini aussie who would be 20-25lb max and a guarantee that he was not from a puppy mill! Fast forward 3 months to June when the puppy more grown up and his personality started showing up, we ended up with an extremely aggressive biting dog who was 37 lbs at only 5 month and did not look like an Aussie. At this point it was unsafe to have him around because it was very unpredictable when he would attack. It started around food and gradually translated to playing! we had to be on guard all the time. I reach out to the pet ship to explain the situation and after trying to reach them several times they responded to my email by saying " he really does look different compared to the aussies the ears". The breeder called me and offered me another dog, which is not ok. She also told me that my puppys mom was 8 years old, (max breeding age is 5). I reached out to the pet shop and explained that I don't want a new puppy and what my concerns were. I want my money back, what they sold me was fraud and no one is taking responsibility for it. I have spent over 5K on this dog with training and taking him to camps to correct his behavior but unfortunately hes psychological sick and nothing worked. Even our trainers told us to stop spending money on him and that he couldn't be corrected. I have called the store and they play dumb to the situation and also refuse to email me back or talk to me. The fact they sell dogs bred this way is so concerning, god forbid we had a child in our home. Both me and my boyfriend have scars all over us from him. Its all round a very sad and heartbreaking situation, we had a loving home for this pup but he had no shot because of how he was bred

Hi there!
Two weeks ago we bought a puppy from Citipups.
The dog was sick since the store(was coughing ), but the seller assured us that everything was fine with him. In the papers, they said that the dog is healthy and ready to go home.
Next day puppy was pooping with blood and his cough just got worse. I took a day off and immediately took the dog to the vet. The vet said the dog was not ready for selling, has pneumonia and Giardia. I was shocked and cried all night.
Next few days dog was even worse. I contacted the store and then the owner who said to me ”your situation is on top for us”. Then he transferred me to the management, the lady was very rude and said she can't help us with a refund. Also, they asked us to leave a dog in the store until the puppy will be totally healthy. Today I visited my puppy and he is in not good condition at all! Employees said they don't know anything about his health issues and I have to talk to the owner or co-owner. The vet tech said,”he might have an allergy.” Also, a puppy is dirty, has paws issues and scratches on his face. (have photos).
Please, help us! I tried to speak to them.in a really good way. I even was ok with no refund, but after my puppy is getting worse and treated really bad, I can't deal with this. That's heartbreaking.

I purchased a puppy from Citipups on 3//19 and paid to board the puppy until 6/*/19 while I was completing medical outreach and service work on the White Earth Reservation in Ogema, MN. When I picked up the dog on 6/*/19, I was given a set of contractual forms to initial and sign on the premises by the sales associate, Matt, and his colleague, Emi. Before I signed the forms, they were explained to me verbally and Matt said (with Emi as a witness) that I had four days (from 6/*/19) to return the pet and receive 50% of the dog's purchase price as a refund.

I was selected for a research fellowship on 6/that requires extensive travel and most regrettably ended up having to return my puppy on 6/*/19. I was informed by sales associate Ari in writing that since my date of pick up was 6/*, I would receive a 50% refund.

When I contacted to store by certified letter to follow up on the status of the refund, I received an email from store manager, Sophy, noting that since I purchased the dog in March, I cannot have the four day 50% refund. I explained the issue regarding the contractual paperwork (i.e. that the refund clause was explained to me and initialed/signed on 6/*/19 in the store) but she was insistent that regardless of her employee's errors in paperwork and contract handling, she will not make exceptions. I am in Europe at this time for work--however, if I were not, I would take this to small claims court given the errors in contract handling. I am aware that I should have held her sales associates more accountable at signing and asked more questions, however, I feel this was extremely mismanaged and since the contract for refund was signed on 6/*/19, I should be given the refund as I was told I would by her employees.

I can provide paperwork from the Citipups store on the day of 6/*/19 as well as the written message from store employee and sales associate Ari stating that I am entitled to a 50% refund as date of pick up was 6/*/19.

At this time, I have been contacted directly by Citipups Village regarding complaint ID, however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

After much discussion, the business has agreed that the sales associate handled the contract inappropriately and illegally. They have agreed to refund $1476.09 as per their guidelines. However, they have not initiated the refund. I am waiting to hear back from them regarding the status of the refund.

Sincerely

I purchased a 2 month old AKC Blue Merle Mini Aussie at Citipups Village. After I got the dog home I noticed that she had no interest in water and I tried everything to get her to drink water. I called Citipups Village right away with very high concern; I called them two days in a row. I was told by my salesman "she will drink when she wants to; it is probably stress." I informed him that I did not think it was stress since she is eating like a champ and that she was very calm and happy and that she just walked into her crate with no qualms. I raised three well behaved, fully housebroken, happy healthy dogs who all lived to their ripe old age and I never had a puppy or dog not interested in water so I called another department within Citipups. I called their 24 hour emergency line only to be told "make your one free appointment with our vet." I asked for the owner and I was told he was out of the country and they were unable to contact him. I then asked for top management to contact me; no one ever called Citipups showed no concern for me or the puppy they did not even call me back to see how the puppy was doing. I visited both Citipups stores for months searching for a puppy to help me with the grief that I was experiencing after my 15 year old dog passed away and Citipups knew this. I had high hopes with Citipups that I would find the right puppy but all I got from doing business with them were TWO bad experiences. My first experience was a salesman in Citipups Village took a deposit on a Husky knowing that I lived in a apartment. I did my research on Huskies as soon as I returned home only to learn that huskies are unhappy in apartments. I did ask the salesman about Huskies and apartments he told me that they do fine under those living conditions. Citipups gave me a problem returning my deposit even though I called them less then 2 hours after I gave them the deposit to let them know that I was not going to purchase the Husky. I blamed the salesman for improper information on this breed. They held my deposit and told me the only way to receive it back was to purchase another dog. My second experience was with this AKC Blue Merle Mini Aussie puppy who showed signs of improper weaning. I did end up making a appointment with Citipups vet but he did nothing and had no suggestions so at that point even though it broke my heart and I cried I had to return the puppy to Citipups after having her for 4 days. I just lost a dog and I was afraid that the puppy would become sick because I was unable to handle the water situation I was force feeding the puppy water with a eye dropper so she did not dehydrate. I called the Citipups office 2 days after I did the return to inquire about the puppy and to find out if the puppy was drinking water. They told me she would only drink water from a water bottle not a bowl. Improper weaning of a puppy would cause this because puppies are introduced to food and water in a bowl when they are properly weaned from the mother. This puppy would potty where she slept and laid in it dogs are programmed by nature not to soil where they sleep puppy mill dogs do this. This puppy was in the pet shop less then a week when I purchased her so she was not there long enough to pick up any bad habits. As for the water problem I would have had to keep this puppy in a crate for longer periods of time because a crate is the only place to attach a water bottle and I don't know how to train a puppy to drink from a bowl being I never weaned puppies. The breeder is suppose to wean the puppies properly and it looks like that did not take place. After I purchased and paid for the puppy Citipups disregarded me like yesterday's newspaper they never once contacted me; not once. This is a true story not FAKE NEWS!!!!!!!
