Citizen One

So everyone needs to knows how this place will treat you. So it was Sunday night is was Cinco De Mayo and my Wife and I and two of our friends that were visiting from out of state and came just to party and tried to celebrate it here we got there right around midnight and everywhere was dead. We had money in our pockets to spend on drinks. We were dressed casual elegant. When we got there they had just let in 3 guys and then when they saw us they said stop and put the rope up that was open and then said "they couldn't let us in because of the ratios in the club aren't what they want it to be" so this is either sexist or racist and either way I'm not cool with it. For the record we are all white and in our early 30's. As I was questioning it they let in two females. Their website has this Moto..."At Citizen, you will always be welcome. At Citizen, you dictate what happens." That is complete ***! As we were arguing with the guy he claimed that it was by reservation only but that was clearly a lie after he noticed his "ratio" comment didn't go over well. They do have reservation only but as their website States Sunday is not reservation only and the people they were letting in weren't being asked a name or anything for a reservation so it's complete ***. I'm not sure who is running this place but they should be shut down for discrimination. This should not be allowed to happen. I only hope everyone else agrees with me and helps me share the bad actions of this place so someone can take action. I mean as a business..they were one of the only bars still open or still had people wanting to party and spend money so I mean your just dumb for turning down money. And you probably shouldn't be making is so obvious that your establishment is both sexist and racist because last time I checked that is illegal. This won't be where my reviews end. I hope they pay for their actions.
