Citizens One Mortgage Reviews (4)

Couldn't be a worse experince. They lost my taxes and documents THREE times, they promised me I'd save $200 a month but miscalculated my escrow so it saved me nothing, might end up costing me more. This is after they added thousands to the mortgage to pay for the loan closing. They won't help me and I've literally been on hold for over 2 hours waiting simply to speak to a manager. I've filed a complaint with NMLS. I've never been more frustrated or appalled at service in my entire life.

Go with LITERALLY anyone else.

This company's customer service is terribleThey prompted me to communicate via their portal and then told me they would research my issue and get back to me I had to notify them many times that my issue was not resolved as I was either ignored or merely sent notices that they were investigating my complaint They did not follow federal regulations regarding insurance practices and made me purchase unwanted/unneeded insuranceIt took me years to resolve my complaint even after they said that they would rectify the matter Their PMI and escrow practices also are not customer friendly

+1

I received a notice from my mortgage lender (recently changed from CCO mortgage to citizens one mortgage) that my condo insurance expired. I submitted a copy of policy (which clearly stated an expiration date for next year) via the portal they directed me to and sent to the fax number listed. 2 weeks later I received another notice that my policy was expired and they would be assessing me over $650 for Hazard insurance they are providing. I once again faxed, imported and emailed the company, AND had my insurance carrier fax them a copy but their automated system still indicated my policy was expired. I called and spoke to an agent who stated none was received. I asked if I could send it via email attachment but was directed to the portal. So I faxed it and imported again and after allowing 2 days as stated on their portal I Checked the system and it still indicates my policy is outdated. My husband tried to call today (I live on the west coast, work 2 jobs and have a toddler) and he was told he was not authorized to receive information about my account without consent. They stated they would call me and get consent and then call him back, which of course never happened. I have also sent a total of 4 emails requesting confirmation that they received my policy. Each time I received an automatic response stating they would read my email and respond within 20 business days. I have since opened a complaint with the CFPB. I have now sent a total of 16 submissions and have spent several hours trying yo resolve this issue.
