When repairing a tire, the sensor is not touchedAs customer mentioned, tire pressure light was already on before she came inAs I explained to the customer, if the light was already on, and is still on after the

Review: UNSAFE REPAIRS!!! This shop did not torque the lug nuts on my vehicle when replacing the 2 rear tires, and put excessive air in my tires.

ON 6/14/2013 I PURCHASED 2) 205/45/17 TIRES FROM CITRUS HEIGHTS WHEEL AND TIRE, AND HAD THEM INSTALL THE TIRES ON THE REAR OF MY CAR. ON MY DRIVE HOME THAT NIGHT, I NOTICED MY VEHICLE WAS NOT RIDING RIGHT. I CHECKED THE AIR PRESSURE WHEN I GOT HOME AND THEY WERE OVER INFLATED 13LBS, IN BOTH TIRES. I CALLED LES SCHWAB TO VERIFY WHAT THEY SHOULD HAVE, AND REMOVED THE EXCESS PRESSURE, WHICH CURED THE RIDE PROBLEM. TODAY 6/21/13, MY CAR STARTED MAKING A FUNNY NOISE FROM THE DRIVER REAR WHEEL AREA, I IMMEDIATELY HAD THE FOREMAN OF MY COMPANY PULL THE WHEEL COVER OFF AND 1 LUG NUT WAS MISSING ALL TOGETHER, AND ANOTHER HAD COMPLETELY BACKED OFF THE STUD AND WAS RATTLING AROUND UNDER THE WHEEL CAP. I CALLED THE SHOP IMMEDIATELY SPOKE WITH THE MANAGER, AND HE WAS EXTREMELY RUDE AND IMPLIED THAT I WAS LYING. HE REFUSED TO TAKE ANY INFORMATION FROM ME TO INVESTIGATE THE SITUATION. I AM CONCERNED THAT THIS SHOP IS NOT LOOKING OUT FOR THEIR CUSTOMERS SAFETY. Desired Settlement: I WOULD JUST LIKE AN INVESTIGATION DONE TO ENSURE THAT THEIR CUSTOMERS ARE SAFE AFTER HAVING THIS SHOP PREFORM ANY WORK ON THEIR VEHICLES. MYSELF AND OR MY 3 YOUNG CHILDREN COULD HAVE BEEN SERIOUSLY INJURED BECAUSE OF THE FAULTY WORK THIS SHOP DID ON MY VEHICLE!!

Originally Mr [redacted] called about an online special we had for 4 tires. she stated she only wanted 2 but wanted to pay half the price, we offer a special when you buy 4 tires. For example Pep Boys sells 3 tires, get one free. you cant go there buy 1 tire and get one free. When she came in she stated she was only going to get one for the sale price of 4. That wasn't reasonable, so we offered her 2 for half price of the sale. So she decided to get 2. After we installed the tires, she wanted free rotation & alignment, which we don't offer for free. She stated she was angry with our service and she was going to "take care of us" and file a report. We didn't understand what she meant at that point, but we do now. We were patient with her and did what we can to help.

I did not mention the price issue in my original complaint, because that was not my main concern, I was a whole lot more concerned about the safety of Citrus Heights Wheel and Tires future customers due to the UNSAFE wheel and tire installations they are preforming. Was I supposed to drive my vehicle over an hour away with only 2 lug nuts holding my wheel on, so that Citrus Heights could "fix" the problem, that they originally caused by preforming UNSAFE installation of my wheels and tires? The lug nut issue was fixed properly by my foreman, as soon as I noticed the issue, so that I did not have to put my self in danger by driving anywhere with only 2 lug nuts holding my wheel on. When I called Citrus Heights Wheel and Tire, I did not ask them to "fix" the problem as it has already been done, I was just concerned that they were preforming UNSAFE installation practices and thought the manager needed to be aware of this situation. When I called Citrus Heights Wheel and Tire, they did not ask me to bring the car in, NOR did they ask any questions to gather information, to try to investigate this issue. Instead they were immediately defensive, and called me a liar, as they are continuing to do with their responses to this complaint. Since I placed this complaint, all Citrus Heights Wheel and Tire has done is try to cause a diversion and smoke screen around their UNSAFE procedures, instead of ADDRESSING their UNSAFE practices. If you go back to my first complaint, I have not asked for any compensation for this issue, nor have I asked for anything at all. I am merely trying to ensure that people are aware of the UNSAFE practices going on in this shop. As for the lack of integrity this business has for their customer service that is apparent in their responses to this complaint.

Customers story has changed since the 1st complain, She didn't mention anything about price being different. We give our customers out the door prices over the phone to avoid any problems. She was just not satisfied with us BEFORE installation of the tires. She had a choice to buy them or not. We're sorry we didnt' fulfill her needs, but we did what we can to help. And if there was a problem with lugnuts, we ALWAYS tell customers to come in asap so we can handle the situation. If that was the case She didn't give us a chance to fix it. She mentioned herself she called Les Schwab, instead of calling us. She could've came back to us and guaranteed we would have handled the situation with no cost!

Review: Told had product available and on hold for next day for $100

Drove all the way to Auburn on May 30,2013 to pick up a rim that was supposed to be ordered. We called the previous day to see of they had the rim in stock. We were told yes that he would have it for us tomorrow and we can pick it up for $100.

Today when we drove an hour an half to pick up the rim we called to verify he said he would call us back in a minute. 5 minutes later nothing so we called back. He said give me a few more minutes ill call you back. 15 minutes passed by nothing still. So we called again we were already 5 minutes away. He told us he only had a set of 4 and was not willing to sell just one rim. Although he had told us the precious day. He said he never spoke to us. We decided to go since we were a block away. When we got there he told us he had no rim in stock. After he had just said he had a whole set. He said he never spoke to us. He was extremely rude and had horrible customer service. He laughed when I said I would be filing a claim against him. Desired Settlement: Honor what they say or close

Mr. [redacted] called our shop inquiring about a wheel. We told him we had it and quoted him for it. The next day he came back to get the wheel, After a short period of time he started getting impatient because he wanted us to install his wheel first. We had several customers in line before him, he did not understand this. He started using foul language while there were children in the office. We tried to calm him down, but he was furious so we had to let him go.

I am ashamed that I even thought about giving this place my business! He is calling me a liar, and is telling the story falsely. He never agreeded to sell my the tire. The day of, when we continued calling to make sure he had it, since he kept telling us to call, he told us that we were lying and that we never called him. He said he never quoted us for the rim, let alone say he had it.I am extremely disappointed in this "compnay". He is flat out lying. He kept calling us liars. When we arrived, he just kept saying he wouldn't break his set of rims just to sell me one. My biggest problem with this place was not addressed! We called the day before, he quoted us for $100 and said he would hold it for us. We called to confirmed the day of. When we were maybe ten minutes from home, we kept calling to confirm. But he kept saying he would call us back in a minute, which never happened. An hour later, we are at his shop and claiming that he never spoke to us, and that we were lying. He lied about selling the product to us the day before on the phone. He lied about never speaking to us. He lied about what actually happened that day. He never told us he would sell it to us. For one, we both drove all the way put there for the tire. We know that can be a long process so we went with no time limit in mind. We were just going to go eat while we waited. So his story is completely false. We wouldn't have freaked out and left just because we were impatient. There was maybe two other couples there. And I assure you there were no children at that shop when we were in there. We were frustrated that we were continuely lied to at this so called business and that he did not admit that he was wrong nor did he try and make some kind of solution. So, no I do not accept his response. I still have my call log proving how many times we had to call. I cant believe this is a running business. After seeing all the complaints on Yelp and Revdex.com, I see a lot of other people agree with me. Its an unhonest business and I want other people aware before they waste their time and money here.

Customer called us several times, we told him we will call him back once we are available. He was verryy impatient, kept calling back to back.... as he stated himself.. one day he just showed up creating a scene. We told him just be patient and we will get to his car. He angrily stated he wanted the job done right away because he had somewhere to be.. He Started using profanity and got obnoxious. At that point we just had to refuse service.

Review: Damaged my wheel when putting tires on my car.

I was getting tires put on my rims an when they went to but them on my car , the service tech guy scratch my rims with the impact gun because he didnt use a smaller socket.Desired Settlement: fix my scratched wheels

Company states that the rims the customer brought to them to install were aftermarket rims. The customer was informed that in order to install them for him that he would have to provide the company with the proper lug nuts and to purchase an installation kit. Customer declined and left with his rims. The customer later returned claiming that they had scratched his rims. There was never any install.

Review: We purchased and paid cash for our rims and tires on August 3rd 2013. We received a receipt that said we had 30 days for refund or exchange. We were initially concerned about the size of the tires that they may be too big for our 2007 Toyota sequoia and were concerned about the shaky ride as they didn't provide hub rings because they did not have any in stock. They said if we had any trouble to come back and they would take care of us by exchanging the tires or a refund or they would order the rings we needed. Just as we suspected the ride was shaky and the tries rubbed the car at every turn. We called them the very next day to resolve the issue and they promised they would order the part we needed and that they would call us when it was in. A couple of days went by and we received no phone call so we called them and all they said was they would return our call when it came in. When we received no call we went to the shop and they gave us the same answer that they would call us when they were in. We continued to go into shop three more times and demanded the parts and still ended up with nothing. After the 30 days my husband went into the shop and they as soon as he got out of car they said there is nothing we can do for you it's been past 30 days and to please leave. We asked for a refund then and our old tires back and they said they didn't have our tires anymore. After consulting with several other professional tire shops we have learned that the tires that Citrus Heights wheels and tires installed were illegal tires for our car and that is dangerous for us to be driving which is disturbing as I was 8 months pregnant when the tires were installed. We are very upset at the money was wasted and we had to take our car to another shop and pay more money for them to be fixed. They also placed the tires knowing they were not he right size for our car and could cause damage.

We are going to keep this short & simple. We were willing to work with the customer, ordered the part, he didn't want to wait, We offered a refund, but he wouldn't give us our wheels back. Every time he called or came in he got loud with threats. The husband came into the shop was throwing things around, vandalized the shop. We had to call the police on the scene, we will mail in the police report in a few days. We had to put up with a lot with this matter, and at this point he will have to order the part on his own, or take the wheels to another shop for adjustments to his car. After the last incident, we are refusing service.

This response to our complaint is completely false. They were not willing to work with us as they installed and sold us wheels and tires without all the parts that goes with it and is very dangerous for our family. They also never offered a refund as this is why the last day and the last day only we were very angry and the police was called over a screaming match because they refuse to give us a refund and return our original tires. The police advised us to write a compliant to the Revdex.com. They strung us along during the 30 day period saying they would take care of us and order the correct parts and never called us or return our calls to say the parts were in. As soon as the 30 days were up they tried to refuse service. Very deceiving and we feel we got scammed. If you read other reviews on Revdex.com and yelp EVERY review is the same, they lie and cheat people out of their money and they do same thing to people time and time again. This is unacceptable and we want a full refund.
