Review: I sign up to City Boxing in February 10,2012. I decided to cancel my membership in January 2013, I went personally to the gym and talked to a employee, [redacted]. He told me that I had to call a phone number that was of the owner,so I could cancel my membership. [redacted] gave me the phone number and that evening I called. When I called I explain my situation and the owner confirmed that my membership was to be canceled, the only inconvenience was that I had to pay for the month of February, which I agreed. After that about two weeks went by and I went to City Boxing to confirm with [redacted] if my membership was canceled and he agreed.I was confident that my membership was canceled. Three days ago on June 11th,2013 my mother, who is the one that was paying with her credit card for my membership,noticed that City Boxing has been charging money for the past few months, which is March through June. That same day June 11th,2013 I called City Boxing and talked to [redacted] ,he told me that my contract was renewed, I explain my situation, told him that I had cancelled my contract back in January and he told me that City Boxing didn't have a cancelation letter from me;therefore my cancelation wasn't effective. I explain over and over that I had cancelled verbally with the owner and with the employee [redacted], and that I was never told about a cancelation letter. I explained that the owner and [redacted] had confirmed me that my membership had been canceled. [redacted] told me that I could send an email to him writing a cancelation letter and that he would have it taken care of, but that was to be between him and I.I sent the letter right after I finished my conversation with [redacted] , and sent it to his personal email. I called back yesterday June 12,2013 because I wanted a confirmation number or a paper stating that my membership had been canceled.I talked to [redacted] and told me that he was going to send a confirmation to my email, which I never received. I'm disappointed, I feel that I been robbed of my money.Desired Settlement: I want my money back for the months of March though June because I cancelled my membership in January , ending my year contract, and I did not agree to renew my contract, nor I was not notified with an email or call that my contract had been renewed.
