Review: On February [redacted], 2015 I purchased at 2014 Buick Enclave from this company. From the moment I begin the process it was no-stop issues. The first being the sales person [redacted] tells the finance department that I'm placing $10,000 down on the vehicle and this was not discussed. From there I had questions regarding the financing of the vehicle which he did not have answers for. I spoke with the [redacted] who also did not have much to offer about my questions but the push was more like come into the office to discuss. Finally I go to pick up the vehicle and as we are asking the sales person questions he's some what rude and arrogant which really surprised me because the papers were not signed but the questions were valid with the way the terms where presented so we wanted to know. Finally I sign the documents and they only have one key for the vehicle. These are things that should have been checked out prior to me picking up the vehicle since they had several days but now it's closing time and everyone wants to rush me out. It is now February [redacted], 2015, what more I have to call and I still have only one key and the sales men is now telling me I have to go to the service department for one and get a loaner vehicle. The sales man ([redacted]) continues to remind me what a great deal they gave me on this vehicle - excuse me... yes the vehicle was $49,000 but after it was all said and done I have financed $45,000. This is what I find so arrogant the reminder of what a great deal this was, truth be told with my credit I could have purchased a car anywhere! They did me no special favors and the car is not free I am paying for it! All that I was asking for is what I have paid for and yet I am the one who has to make it to pick up the key from a department that is only open five days a week during work hours and the solution I'm given is to get a loaner. I find this quality of customer service implausible. I am annoyed with the quality or lack thereof of customer service I am experiencinDesired Settlement: I would like to have the second key for my vehicle given to me without having to jump through hoops like taking a day off from work to make it to a parts department that is only open Monday through Friday from 8am-5pm. There are no Saturday hours and now the solution is for me to drop off my vehicle and pick up a loaner in order to secure an additional key! This is a whole lot of running around for a key that the finance [redacted] asked the sales person to check for prior to me leaving!

Truth be told, the service was awful. After reaching a deal and agreeing on terms, the day the vehicle arrived, they asked us for an additional 25,000 dollars down. After I questioned thier ethics and business practices, they agreed to supply the vehicle at the original terms , in the time agreed upon. Though it was damaged, they offered to have it repaired in a few days and even offered a loaner vehicle in the meantime.

The problem was, however, that we were unable to follow through with our purchase as planned due to the unexpected death of a valued friend, family member and officer of our company, which forced us to put all new business on hold.

Although they had promised to refund our deposit in full in the event that we could not or would not, for any reason, complete the sale, they did not and would not refund the deposit. In fact, after a week of unanswered calls and a trip to their site, and yet more unreturned calls, Jose, the salesperson, informed my representative that if we wanted to be reimbursed, we would have to dispute the charge with the bank. We promptly did.

Bottom line is, they're a bunch of scam artists. They havent returned any of our calls to date. They tried to change the terms of our agreement. Somehow, the people who handle these issues always seem to be absent or at lunch or have the day off whenever I called or came by to settle this dispute or finalize the original deal for that matter. Lets not forget that the vehicle was damaged when it arrived.

Our business is luxury transportation. There are plenty of dealerships in the tri-state and NY metropolitan area. We won't be doing business with City Cadillac in the future. We suggest you dont either.

Review: My husband and I took our Cadillac escalade to City Cadillac service center on 02/**/14 to be service. The issues with our truck was it would not start up once we turned it off. If we went back to restart truck it would not start. City Cadillac diagnosed the truck with needing a new starter, we needed to change the belts etc. Our bill was a little over $2000.00 out of pocket because we no longer have a warranty. City Cadillac assured us that once they fixed these issue the truck would be fine. To make a long story short its now 05/**/14 and our truck has been towed back to this service center five times for the same reason we took it there for on 02/**/14. City Cadillac claims they can't find anything wrong with our truck. They said they fixed everything . However we still have this issue. My husband and I decided to get a second and third opinion on whats wrong with our truck . Two different mechanics and both said the same thing we need a new starter. How can this be when we paid city Cadillac to replace the one they said was no good. Five returns to city Cadillac and they could not see that the starter was never change but we were charged thousands not including rental car fees , taxi fees , missing days of work , kids getting to school late, getting stuck in mall parking lots , supermarket parking lot with grocery for hours waiting for tow trucks. But, city Cadillac still state we can not find anything wrong. How can this be? We have a warranty on the starter they claimed to have put in the truck , but we refuse to go back there. We do not trust city Cadillac with our truck or money we will never go back there for any type of service we feel robbed, lied to , disrespected and toyed with. My husband and I are honest people that work hard Monday thru Friday for our pay checks. Our money and time mean a lot . This experience has disrupted my family in a horrible way because this truck is our only means of transportation . We have found a honest mechanic that we have to pay out of pocket again to fix something that we already had payed for with city Cadillac . He will give us the old part and we also have pictures to show that this starter was old it was not new or remanufactured .Desired Settlement: We want all our money back from city Cadillac for the repairs they claim they did to our truck plus rental fees we incurred during this time. Our truck was not repaired so they should give us back our money!

Response:

vehicle was brought back to the dealership for a no start concern. the vehicle in question would start everytime we attempted to start it. we were unable to duplicate the no start condition and therefore unable to pinpoint any trouble. if the starter ultimately was the problem that another service shop corrected, we can reimburse the customer for the cost of the starter and the labor involved.

[Your Answer Here]

My husband and I are rejecting this offer. Our truck has been towed back to City Cadillac by their own tow truck company that they use because our truck would not start. My husband and I also has had the truck towed to City Cadillac by our own expense because of this own going situation . As for City Cadillac claiming that while our truck was in their position they were unable to duplicate the problem , unfortunately that is not our concern.

We would like a full refund of our money , plus all the bills we have incurred because of this on going problem. We were charged for services that were not necessary. City Cadillac was unable to fix our truck and provided us with false information about the situation with our truck. These are the reason we would like a full refund. Revdex.com my husband and I have all our receipts from City Cadillac , rental receipts, taxi receipts and receipts from the service center that just finished work on our truck. If you need copies of any of the receipts I can scan and email. Plus we have a live video of the new mechanic working on our truck step by step showing that the only problem to our truck was us needing a new starter and everything else was unnecessary . We have pictures of the old starter with serial number that was removed out of truck , plus pictures of the new starter that he put in the truck.

Thank you

Response:

This customer paid our company a grand total of $1,955.55 for repairs to their vehicle. Of this amount, $744.11 went towards the replacement of the starter. The remaining amount was for tune-up services to the vehicle which included spark plugs, wires, drive belt, a throttle body cleaning service, an oxygen sensor and a new York state inspection. The starter repairs in question were for the amount of $744.11 parts labor and tax. As we have stated previously if the starter we installed was defective we will gladly reimburse the [redacted] the cost of the starter part only. which comes out to $458.30 for the actual part. We will need the starter in question to be provided to us for inspection which the customer refuses to do. We informed the customer to bring the vehicle to us, for us to inspect the starter to see if it is defective. The customer has refused. Whenever the vehicle was in our service department the vehicle started and ran normally, in fact we had the [redacted]s husband road test the vehicle with our technician and neither the [redacted] or our technician was able to duplicate the no start concern. We run a very honest business and in fact this starter is somehow defective we can reimburse the customer $458.30 for the cost of the starter, if they provide the defective starter to us for an inspection.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

My husband and I have presented our claim. We have asked for a full refund for service that did not fix our truck , plus fees we had to incur because of this problem. Its seems that City Cadillac will not honor our request. We will never take our truck back to City Cadillac Service center , because like they said they were unable to fix and duplicate the problem. We took our truck back there five times too many. If City Cadillac wont honour our request we will see them in court.

Thank you

Sincerely,

Review: The offer by [redacted], which would be the lender for the vehicle I was leasing, stated a $325.00 Security Deposit which would be returned at the end of the lease. This amount was part of my total down payment which, came out to $1205.01. I was assured by the salesman, [redacted], that I would receive that Security Deposit back. After the deal was made [redacted] deliberately did not provide me with a copy of the contact knowing that I would see that he put N/A in the space for the amount of the Security Deposit. After requesting the copy several times he said that he could help me with whatever I needed regarding the contract. Then I stated I want a copy. He said he would email it. He never did. At the end of the lease I obtained a copy of the contract from [redacted] and noticed the N/A for the Security Deposit. After confronting [redacted] he stated he has no recollection of ever telling me that there was a security deposit in the deal.Desired Settlement: I wish to be refunded my Security Deposit in the amount of $325.00
