Their response is not exactly the truth.  When I found they charged my credit card for the March parking even though my account was canceled, I called them on March 3rd to have the charges reversed.  I was told that would happen and I waited a few days to check.  No refund.  I called them City Center Parking back and was told that it was on someone's desk for approval and they have "thousands of customers so it would take some time".  That was essentially what I was told the week of March 7th multiple times.  I called again on March 14th asking for where my refund is and was told that my refund was finally approved on March 11th.  I called again on March 17th to ask where my refund was and was told it was just submitted on the 15th.  Today is March 21st and the money is still not refunded.  This is not legitimate processing time or banking time, this is City Center parking customer service and management issues.  When you get a refund from any department store, it takes at most several days.  They have had my money for three weeks now and I still do not have a clear path to trusting my money will be refunded.  This is unethical business practice.  My money should have been refunded immediately as they no longer had authorization to charge my credit card as my account had been canceled.  Sincerely,[redacted]

initiate the process for the funds to show on the customer's statement.  This time lag is outside of our control.

Our system showed the refund on 3/15/16, but it actually processed on 3/17/16 back to the VISA on file in the amount of $185 (see attachment for transaction information).  We do apologize for the oversight/error in not cancelling the parking prior to March as it should have been and the frustration and inconvenience to Amy for everything that has happened since. 
Once we submit the refund to the processor, which we have, we cannot control how long it takes after that point. Hopefully the information on the attachment will be helpful to speed up the process.
