Review: On 02/**/14 at 12:55 a.m. my vehicle was towed from the Ingersoll Houses parking lot while displaying an official New York City Department of Probation parking plaque. This unauthorized tow presented a safety issue. Also, I believe my car was being targeted by the tow company as a result of a previous incident with the company. In September 2013, a tow truck driver and his assistant attempted to extort $70 from me after he illegally hooked my car for tow. During that incident I was approaching my vehicle, and made it clear to the driver that the vehicle belonged to me, but he still hooked the vehicle. The driver then stated to me "if you give me $70 I will drop the vehicle". After I displayed my credentials to the driver and informed him of the legal issues he will face if he tows the vehicle he decided to release it.Desired Settlement: I believe a refund should be granted as the tow was illegal.

Review: On Friday May **, 2014, my car was parked in the [redacted], [redacted], [redacted], and [redacted] parking lot at [redacted]. I entered the [redacted] at approximately 3:25pm to make a purchase. I completed the purchase, placed the items in the car, and proceeded to the TD Bank Area. When I returned, my car was towed. I entered the [redacted] Store to ask them if they had any information about the towed car. A gentlemen in the store, who was dressed differently than the sales associates, said it was towed and directed me to call the towing company on the sign, as they have cameras on site that "watch for people", and they probably called the tow company. I thanked him and followed the protocol. The tow company informed me of their process, and gave me the phone number for the City Corps Management Company. I called the company, and got an answer from a customer service person. They asked me where I was on the property at that present moment. I informed them that I was standing in front of the [redacted], and I had proof of purchase (my receipt), and demanded to see the property manager. They informed me that the property manager was on-site and would come out to speak with me in front of the [redacted]. I waited for the property manager for 40mins, no one showed up. I called back four times to the company for an update within that 20minutes and no one answered the telephone. I went back into the tuxedo store during this time to ask if they had information on the property manager, and noticed that the gentlemen (dressed differently than the sales associates) with whom I had been discussing the ordeal with was gone. I asked the sales associates where he went and they said they "didn't know, he must have left". I never saw this person exit the front of the store, thus he must have been in the back of the store, or exited from the back of their location. I asked the [redacted] sales associations for the name of the property manager and they refused to give it to me, as did the tuxedo store sale associates. I then called the police, and was told an officer wold be sent out to the location. No one came for an hour. I spoke with the TD bank police officer and he told me what to do, and the proper protocol. He also called for a squad car. He saw me the entire time. Once the police arrived they informed me that I would have to file a complaint with the Revdex.com. I described the gentlemen with whom I had been discussing the ordeal with and they said he worked for the management company and they see him around there all the time. Once I received the receipt fro the towing company, and compared the time of the call in for my car to be towed and the time of my purchase on the property at the [redacted], I saw the call was made for the call to be towed while I was still inside of the [redacted] at 3:30pm. The time on my receipt is 3:34pm. The tow company receipt says I was towed because parking is for customers only and it is a private parking lot. I purchased an item from this private parking lot's business, and have proof of it.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of my towing fees, as the call for the car to be towed occurred simultaneously during my [redacted] store property purchase. I would also like the name of the property manager who never showed up after the company told me he would arrive to speak with me in person and view my receipt at the store.

Review: This business is allowing a company to scam customers in the shopping area out of money when the All About Automotive & Towing company targets people and tows their cars. I bank in the shopping area and I'm also a member at the gym there. I was there yesterday to go to the gym, and my car was towed. I spoke with a few of the businesses there and apparently this has been going on for a while. It's disgusting and pathetic that they are allowing these people to prey on people who are merely trying to patronize the establishments on the property. I had to pay $136 to get my car back and I want my money back! I have contacted the local news channels and I will be reporting this on my radio show. What they are doing is not ok! And I won't rest until the whole city knows. I was told by store owners that this company used to tow the car and take it around the corner and force people to pay them, and then bring the car back around. Apparently people started catching on and the surrounding businesses started telling their customers what these people are doing so now they actually tow the cars all the way to Williamsburg which is about a half hour to 45 minutes away from the parking lot and not easily accessible by public transportation. Because of this, I was 45 mins late to work yesterday and I also had made a friend late for their clients appointment because they had to puck me up and drive me to work. It's not like I have no right to be in there. I bank with TD Bank and I'm a member at Retro Fitness which are both in that shopping area. If I'm going to either one, I have every right to park there. This is unacceptable and unfair.Desired Settlement: I want my money back.

Review: I was park m car at [redacted] parking plaza to do grocery shopping and only 5 MINUTES after I realized I forgot to bring enough money to buy stuff in there, and I went to bank right next to the super market, and this guy from City Corps Management called and towed my car. Really? I try to stop this guy from tow company to untowed my car, he won't license and drove away with my car. It's insane they do this to a customer. I have call cops to come because I felt so unsafety talk to two strange guys who are so unprofessional and aggressive man . My uncle came after and pay the towing fees which is shouldn't be charge, because I don't need to be towed I can drive away my car. I called couple time to the company and try to speak to someone there who are manage the business, they said as long as I walk out the property line for 2 seconds they will call even I did doing business there.Desired Settlement: Refund my towed fees
