Store manager and store smelt like marijuana at store #6147 at 3517victory Dr in Columbus ga
Went to store to get some shoes for my boy . Workers in store never ask did I need some help bought 3 pairs and ordered one for pickup in store. A week later I came back to check on shoes the worker were all outside and when they came in they smelled like marijuana. They never did find my order.

I went to city gear #6035 5-8-2022 around 5pm where they did not have much to choose from..I chose af1 shadow $120 ($132.00 after taxes)I took the display to sales man and asked did they have it in size 7..about 15 mins later he came back with shoe box under his arm. I asked if I could try it on he mummbled something about not that one but here try this one on he hands me the size 7 af1 display which I try on and it fit..so I go to counter and make my af2shadow purchase..I get down the road on my way to dinner and out the af1 shadow on and it was too big! So I turn around and take it back to the store where the man tells my boyfriend they dont give refunds only exchanges or store credit..so I go in and ask them.ya.ll dont give refunds? He said no I said well you coulda told me that he days theres signs..I did not see a sign on the front door nor by the shoes or anywhere altho I wasnt exactly looking for no refund signs..what store dont give ur cash refund back these days? Anyway I was on my waybto dinner and didnt have time to explain to the man that there needs to be a sign on the door which EVERYONE can see as they walk in the store..

Theres is a no refund on the receipt AFTER you check out..
So I took the gift card and left..
I still have the gift card I have not used it.. if the salesman would have jst let me try the shoe on
that I was purchasing at the store I would have known it was to big and never bought it .but he didnt and I would like my full cash refund back..I dont want this gift card...I will never shop at city gear again!

I’m at your Texas city location to purchase some shoes and apparel, I walked in the store I was in for 20-30 minutes no help! Anyone can walk right in this store and take multiple items this is how open and abandoned it is. It appears that the manager is outside talking, but he makes no attempts to help customers this is absolutely ridiculous!

This young lady made it her business to entertain two gentlemen that were in the store. I asked her for a price she said a price. I asked her to double check she went to the back came back threw my shoe on the shelf and TOLD ME TO PICK ANOTHER ONE.

I will never shop at City Gear again. I went to the Lake Charles store to buy tennis for my grandson for school. I spent over $200 on two pairs of tennis. When we got home, we checked the shoes and found that one pair had different sizes in the box. I brought the shoes back to the store in about 30 minutes. At store they looked in the storeroom and said they only had a pair of 13's. The box that we had was supposed to be 11's but had a 10 and an 11 in the box. This was pure bait and switch.. The clerk stated that they could give me an exchange or store credit. The other shoes that my grandson wanted to exchange for was $10 more. I told the clerk that since they did not have any more of the same shoes in stock, they should give me a discount and make this an even exchange or give me a refund.. They said the could not do that. They called another store to check to see if they had a pair of the shoes. After waiting 10 minutes for a response, I decided to exchange the shoes for the $10. more. I will never shop at any City Gear again.

I’m extremely distraught I’ve ordered a 200 dollar pair of shoes from “city gear” and I’ve looked all over the Internet/stores just to find (Air jordan retro 9) in my size I’ve finally found them and now my shoes are still “AWAITING SHIPPING” for 3 days now. I’ve waited days I called the store and the lady hung up on me twice after she answered ! Customer service is very rude I would like my full $202 dollars back onto my credit card and I’m officially done with city gear their very unprofessional and disrespectful.

False accommodations

My husband tried to return the item to the store where it was purchased which is St Matthews mall 5000 Shelbyville Road Suite 1165 Louisville KY 40207.

I went to city gear on Saturday morning at 12am to wait for the [redacted] retro 11 black and infrared 23 sneakers that were being released at 8am that morning. When the doors finally opened , a lady who I hadn't previously seen in the front of the line purchased multiple pairs of the same shoe. Which, I think is unfair because there were other people outside waiting to get their shoes ,and it was unfair to me and other people that the store allowed her to purchase multiple pairs of the shoe. They also allowed her to exchange a pair of the shoes because her son got the wrong size, but on my receipt it states no exchanges or returns.Product_Or_Service: [redacted] 11 black and infared 23Desired SettlementI desire a pair of [redacted] retro 11 black & infrared 23 low sneakers . Our policy on return and exchanges is as follows and has not changed: We allow an exchange on any item within 14 days from date of purchase with accompanying receipt. We do not give refunds. We are unable to accommodate the customers request for a [redacted] shoe, however, the next time she comes to one of our stores, I would be happy to give her a 20% discount on any item, other than a launch shoe. Just have the customer tell the associate the discount was approved by the DM and have them call me to verify. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Ordered shoes one week ago, never got them. Shoes still have not been shipped. Ordered online. Called customer service 3x and they have no info.I am beyond annoyed. I ordered some shoes7 days ago. Online. Order # XXXXXXXXX An employee called me the next day to verify my address because I had a different shipping address than my billing address. I confirmed the info with her. She told me my shoes would be sent out. This was 7 days ago.I just called to check the status because I have not received any shipping info. The person who assisted me indicated that it was awaiting approval.Where are my shoes? Why haven't they been shipped?I need to know what's going on. I answered my phone and confirmed all the info with her. This is fraud.When I called again over the past week, I was told I could not be helped. Mr.[redacted] did not respond on 09/04/20142. Mr.[redacted] was emailed and called on 9/05/2014 at 9:43 AM to verify his shipping and billing addresses. Mr.[redacted] did not respond.3. Citygear.com closed his order on 9/06/2014, and reported it as a fraudulent order because Mr.[redacted] did not verify his addresses. A refund was not issued back.4. Mr.[redacted] contacted CityGear.com's customer service department on 09/15/2014 at 6:51 PM stating that he spelled his name wrong on the order.5. Citygear.com then responded to Mr.[redacted] on 09/15/2014 at 7:25 AM with the following:"Mr.[redacted], we do apologize for your closed order. Your order was closed because it was marked as a fraud. Please contact your bank or credit card holder to file a charge back to get your funds back as soon as possible."6. Mr.[redacted] then responded on 09/15/2014 at 11:23 AM. His email message states that he is verifying his order and to please call after 10 AM CST.7. Our customer service rep responded to Mr.[redacted] on 09/15/2014 at 11:52 PM and informed Mr.[redacted] that we will not be able to confirm his order due to it being marked fraudulent and that he should contact his bank or credit card provider in order to file a charge back.8. Mr.[redacted] responded on 09/18/2014 at 10:39 AM. Mr.[redacted] stated that his refund did not go through on his card. 9. Our customer service rep replied on 09/18/2014 at 10:57 AM and advised Mr.[redacted] to contact his bank or credit card provider to file a charge back.10. Mr.[redacted] contacted City Gear's customer service department on 10/07/2014 at 12:01 PM. Stating and quote "Order closed on 9/09/2014. No money returned to card. Mr.[redacted] stated in his response that the bank is saying it was a fraudulent charge due to him using Aunt's credit card" end quote. 11. Our customer service rep responded to Mr.[redacted]' email on 10/07/2014 at 1:19 PM and informed him that, since he used his aunt's card, his aunt would have to call her bank and file a charge back.
