So I called to complain about Rescom Windows...the sales guy came last night and quoted us about $30k to replace all our windows which honestly wasn't to bad for the quality of the window but what happened after that was just not right So that price is good for year then he gives us the discounted price if we decide in 90days which is less That was also great Then he says if we agree right now and give him a down payment it is another off Who in their right mind agrees to spend $24,without doing some research into the company first Note we did not call them we must have filled out an interest card at a home show So I called them today to complain about what the sales guy said at the end when we asked for a business card because it is something we are interested in...he said "why its not like your going to call and spend $more if you can't decide right now there is no point" This just shows me that they have something to hide since they want you to agree and sign a contract without giving you the ability to look into them

So I called to complain about Rescom Windows...the sales guy came last night and quoted us about $30k to replace all our windows which honestly wasn't to bad for the quality of the window but what happened after that was just not right. So that price is good for 1 year then he gives us the discounted price if we decide in 90days which is 2500 less. That was also great. Then he says if we agree right now and give him a down payment it is another 4000 off. Who in their right mind agrees to spend $24,000 without doing some research into the company first. Note we did not call them we must have filled out an interest card at a home show.

So I called them today to complain about what the sales guy said at the end when we asked for a business card because it is something we are interested in...he said "why its not like your going to call and spend $4000 more if you can't decide right now there is no point"

This just shows me that they have something to hide since they want you to agree and sign a contract without giving you the ability to look into them.

A few weeks ago a gentleman knocked on my door asking me to fill out a card to submit me in a drawing to win free windows for me home. He told me that there would be a a follow up call from the office to make sure all the information was correct. That call came about a week later. During the call, they asked if I would be willing to have someone come out and give me a free quote for replacement windows. I agreed.

Before the presentation began, I let the sales gentleman know that I was not at all interested in replacing all my windows but there were 2 that I wanted to replace ASAP. The sales pitch was roughly 2 hours long. 1:45 of it centered around other companies windows and what is wrong with them, their sales tactics, and especially their warranty. The other 15 minutes were spent on a brief demonstration of their Bristol replacement window and measuring all the windows in my home. After this was done I was given a white piece of paper with all sort of numbers scribbled down. This is not how any reputable business would provide a quote, especially given the amounts we were talking about ($35,000). As the other reviewer notes, this quote was good for 1 year. However, I was presented with a discount if I bought within 90 days, and then a further discount if I signed TODAY. He presented with some financing options, to which I told him I was not interested in at all (9% interest rate by the way, no thank you). After declining he repeated tried to get to me allow the financing company to run a credit check on me, telling me that it would "not impact my credit score at all", "it can't hurt to try", "even if you are declined you are locked in at the super today discount price" etc. Even after all this, against my better judgment I still reminded him that I was interested in replacing 2 of my windows. He informed me that they have an 8 window minimum, that he would personally get reduced to 5. I again said no thank you and after more continued attempts to convince me otherwise he left.

They made such a huge deal of other companies warranties, showing me many of them in writing and explaining what is wrong with them, yet never showed me the one from Winchester Industries (manufacturer of the Bristol Window).

They used every awful sales tactic in the book. As I was very accommodating to the sales person, and genuinely interested in doing a small bit of business with them, I was appalled at the way this was handled.
