Loading took about hours because they were really careful and used padding on items that needed extra protection I was really glad to see that they were extremely careful with my expensive road bike and made sure it was well protected before loading it We had arranged for the items to be unloaded right after we took possession of our house a few days later and once again, Andre showed up right on time With the help of other guys, unloading took about hours and the items were carefully taken to the different rooms that we wanted them in Everything went very smoothly We would definitely recommend Nibia Movers as we felt that they did a really good job for us Not only were they able to accommodate us at the very last minute when we were left stranded by another mover, but they were punctual and were very careful in loading and unloading our items They also made sure that our house was cleared of any packing tape and materials after the loading and unloading processes To make it even better, we had accidentally left a toolbox behind during the move and Andre offered to get it for us on his next trip and he did! I just made the biggest move of my life (from Calgary to Vancouver) and it was a breeze with Andrey and his skilled and equally enthusiastic moversI reserved a U-Haul in Calgary and U-Haul unexpectedly gave away my reserved vehicle not once but twice, I contacted Andrey hoping he could help and thankfully he took the time out of his busy schedule and got me moved out completely before I had to do my walk through that morningI am now in Vancouver, I have all my items and they are all in perfect conditionI've never in my life experienced a smoother move, and I have moved 20+ times and never had an easier time than with Nibia MoversStrongly and highly recommend this company!! WORST customer service ever! Please read and do not use this mover! They offer a low rate and then overcharge and even call the police when you question their methods My girlfriend called Nibia movers to have her small boxes moved from Vancouver to Calgary They quoted her $for up to poundsWhen they picked up her stuff Andre told her he couldn't weigh it at the time and he would weight it in KelownaThen told her she had pounds She had medium sized boxes, luggage, snowboard and a few other Tupperware containersShe told him that there was no way it was pounds! He then said it was pounds
When he arrived to drop the stuff off at my house I weighed each box with a bathroom scale and even rounded up the weight to be fairImmediately when he noticed the scale he became all defensive and upset and said those scales are not accurate and would not go by the weight from the bathroom scale! I admit they are not 100% accurate but accurate to within a pound our He still argued with meAfter weighing all the items and being generous on the weight, the weight came to pounds, not poundsStill he said he didn't care and if I did not pay him he was involving the policeTo which I agreedI knew I was right and as were my weightsThe police said it was a civil matter and they would not get involvedAndre said he had the right to take back the boxes until payment was madeI reluctantly paid the $bill, which as per his pay scale should have been $I even offered to pay $cash! In the end Andre was unreasonable, misleading and threatening! To anyone considering this moving company I urge you to find a better company with better customer service!

Move started August with Andrey and company when household effects went into cold storage and ended with move to Osoyoos in October Workers at both ends efficient, careful, friendly and respectful in handling our goodsExtra care was taken in handling some antique items and appreciated the extra padding where necessaryNo items damaged or lostMoving the load from cold storage to an environmentally controlled facility was most appreciatedCommunication by Andrey throughout the year was excellentWe never hope to move again but if we have to we would be contacting Nibia MoversIt should be noted that of the moving companies I contacted Nibia was the only one who came to the house to evaluate our load - the rest said fill out a form on-line Personal contact always better
We were very pleased with the service that Andrey and his team provided moving us from New Westminster to Pincher CreekThey were very professional and wrapped our furniture thoroughly (we did our own packing)They were careful in dismantling shelves and our bed and made sure to keep all the pieces together, assembling the bed on our arrival We were given firm pickup and delivery times which made planning the move easierAndrey went above and beyond by packing a case of wine himself, as I didn't know if that's something they would even takeHe packed it with great care and all bottles arrived safe and sound!
