I never stated I was a tenantI was told I was approved for the home but when I spoke with mike I believe his name is, I was treated very rudely and when I wouldn't drop off over $ [redacted] to an drop box at what looks like an unoccupied building I was then told I wasn't approvedI can explain what happened better over the phoneI can be reached at [redacted] What they seem to be doing is trying to take peoples money.....if they are gullible enough to fall for it

Called business spoke with *** he stated that the property was sold and they were going to give information to the next property owners because they were under the impression that Ms*** still wanted to rent the property*** stated that he will be reaching out to Ms*** and has no
problem issuing her the $** dollars back

The office never came to look at my ceiling or bedroom ceiling to try an resolve the problem..I've been complaining about this since the last rental company was here an its not fair because I pay my rent always in time

Review: We have been in a lease with CL and S, LLC for over 16 months and we have had so many issues in the structural integrity of the home, Major health issues , black mold, animal feces, fly infestation and the house is full of leaks, including a bedroom ceiling on the brink of falling in due to leak in the roof, that has never been addressed.

C L& S is impossible to get a hold of. They have no physical office, a phone system that wont let you leave a message, a drop box in an undisclosed address, or, they dont answer the phone at all. If you are lucky and get through, they NEVER return the calls. After numerous attempts to settle these issues on our behalf, we have gotten CL&S attention by withholding rent and fees. This has ended us in a legal battle re: eviction. We had a court date on 04/05/2016 that they never showed up to. We want out of the lease. We have a upcoming civil date on 05/09/2016. We are moving. We are a low income housing, but just over the limit for legal aid, so a lawyer would help, but we cannot afford one. They have consistently lied and deceived us from the moment we signed the lease. We would advise that anyone considering leasing or buying from CL&S stay clear from their deception and blatant lies. Anything they say they will do, or repair, you cannot rely on. It feels like CL&S is bullying us and have made us live in filth and structural instability.Desired Settlement: Financial consideration re; the deplorable living conditions since the sign of lease. Monetary consideration toward the neglect of major health issues. Disregard of any of our complainants, not maintaining contact with us, not having a way to communicate with CL&S.

Review: I believe this company is commiting fraud. I put in my application and paid my $75 toatal in application fees. I was told to dop off the money in a drop box at their office. The location did not have an address and looked empty but as I figured out that had to be the building, I road around the building and saw a drop box with their name on it. I dropped the money in the box and they did not call me back, I had to call them. A couple of days went by and a man by the name of [redacted] Snyder called me back on 1-30-16 and said I was approved for the house and was I still interested. I told him yes, I told [redacted] that I should have my money by 2-1-16 and if not I will call him back, H said ok. On 2-1-16 I called [redacted] back and he didn't answer, from that day on I was never able to get back in touch with Kyle. I then called the 1-866 number and a lady answered and she wasn't very polite. After speaking with her I was then connected with [redacted] who I believe was the one who showed me the house. I then told [redacted] what [redacted] and I had spoke about and that he said I was approved and told him that I will have my money on 2-4-16 and on that day I would call him and set up an appointment so I can give him the 1st months rent and security deposit. [redacted] said ok. I called and spoke with [redacted] again on 2-2-16 and 2-3-16 just to make sure the house was still available. On 2-4-16 I called [redacted] and when he answered he blew air as if I was being worsome and getting on his nerves. That made me feel some type of way and I no longer wanted to do business with him. I asked [redacted] is there a problem? is something wrong? he said no. I said ok well it seems like its a problem with me calling, [redacted] said no its just been a long day. Mind you its early morning, how busy could he have been already. He wanted me to drop off the money in the box and he would call an schedule an appointment. I said no, we can do it all the same day. He got an attitude and said ok, he then called back and said I wasn't approved.Desired Settlement: I would like for this to be looked into because I believe they are taking peoples money. I would like for this company to be flagged and for people to be warned about them. For one person to call and tell me Im approved and then another person tells me Im not because I called him out on his bull and wouldn't drop over $1000 dollars in a box is questionable to me. Im just glad I was able to catch it and not get scammed.

Review: I have been complaining for years for my ceiling to be repaired from chipped paint everywhere..the situation has gotten worse its fall in on carpet an its starting to chip above my head when I sleep..please helpDesired Settlement: I feel like if I'm living in those type of conditions an their ignoring my maintenance request I should be granted a refund of some kind because my ceiling looks awful
