I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I confirm that the business has refunded our entire deposit only after filing this complaint and reaching out to the business owner through other venuesI consider this complaint resolved, but reserve the right to staunchly disagree with the business’ claim that they only had a “misstep” in handling this incident! The supposed Manager that handled my call that day was WAY OUT OF LINE and downright RUDE & DISRESPECTFUL!! They can try and save face all they want, but the fact remains that this is NOT how you should conduct business, especially with a repeat customer who has already spent nearly $1,patronizing your businessIt’s really THAT SIMPLE!!!

[redacted] First off, we NEVER took a towel out of the room or patio! We did not wipe off our car, that is a complete lie!!  We never spoke to any housekeeper or director, other then asking for a bar of soap as we passed her walking out of the building. Someone is obviously lying to save their job because they damaged one of their towels, and tried to blame it on the customer.  This is a shame. Nobody from the hotel ever called us back after our complaint. They said they would contact the GM and the dining manager, and nobody got back to us. THAT is why we had to file this complaint. Nobody offered to resolve the issue. Bad customer service and basic problem solving on the part of the management.

This guest was charged for a damaged towel due to the fact that our housekeeping Director spoke to the husband as he was wiping the exterior of his car with our bath towels. We certainly expect normal wear and tear during a visit but when a guest decides to damage or destroy a product of ours we do...

It was not until the charge at the conclusion of their stay was there any mention of a dissatisfactory visit. We pride ourselves on proving a first-class, loving, and memorable experience to each and every guest. Our Manager did speak with this guest at which time the guest threatened that they would publicly complain if we did not remove the extra charge. We do not overcharge or add hidden charges but we are a small business that must charge for consumed items and we believe that this additional charge was not only ethical but also fair.
