Review: I went into City Nail Salon to have my nails done, during my lunch hour. I requested to have Gel pink and white French nails, when she started putting on my nails, I realize she was doing it differently than other nail salons I have gone to. I was there during my lunch hour only having 1 hour, I just let her proceed doing my nails. I asked her I don't like them to long, when she was done doing my nails, I wasn't happy with the results, they look messy and sloppy. She asked me to pay her $45.00 for her service. I called her later that day after I left work, to let her know I was not happy, I didn't say anything at the time because I had to get back to my work. She said that I can come back next day to have them cut down, I told her I rather have them taken off, because I didn't want the pink and white acrylic I asked for Gel pink and white, but I guess you didn't hear me and I was rushed to get back to my job. She was going to charge me another 7.00 to have them taken off and charge me to have the Gel on. The Gel is 30.00 and what I was charged was 45.00, so Why will she charge me again, she said it was my fault because I didn't tell her what exactly I wanted and that she will only charge me 30.00 instead of 37.00 for having my nails removed. I thought she was rude for charging me and blaming me for not telling her what I wanted, when I told her I wanted pink and white gel, I learned there is two versions acrylic or gel, other nail salons will do gel on me, and she said because they don't know how to run a business. She has been in business for over 25 years she knows how to treat her costumers. If that is the case she wouldn't hurt me while taking off the mistake she made, by having my fingers bleed, and blaming the costumer. She was out to get my money by charging me 45.00 that is more than having gel on; I just walked away knowing to never come back, I just lost $45.00 from someone who know how to take advantage of customers.Desired Settlement: $45.00
