The following is the City of Marysville's response to [redacted]'s complaint
regarding the City's water service to the [redacted]l Church at [redacted] Street,
Marysville, Ohio.
On September 3,2014, the Church had a delinquent...

balance on its waterlsewer bill of
$309.90, and the water had been disconnected since November, 2013. The balance of $309.90
was paid on September 3,2014, and an appointment was arranged on September 10,2014 for the
water to be reconnected. [redacted], an employee of the City's Water Department,
reconnected the water service, and shortly thereafter, he discovered that a private service line had
a leak. He consequently turned the water back off (in accordance with Section 930.06(g), (h),
and (i), Marysville Codified Ordinances).
On September 10,2014, when Mrs. [redacted] telephoned the City, Hope Beard, the City's
utilities clerk, politely explained these circumstances to her and further advised that the water
would be reconnected once the private service line is repaired and inspected by the City's Water
Department. She was also advised that she would have to pay the $75.00 inspection fee to the
City prior to reconnection (see Section 93 1.08(C), Codified Ordinances).
