We are in receipt of your letter dated May 28, in reference to complaint ID ***The customer involved in the complaint had a utility account with the City of Rockport until April 30, when the customer requested the account be placed on hold and the deposit

In doing an audit of our deposits held on customer accounts last month we noticed that this deposit of $was still on the account, however another customer was active at the address so we refunded it to the balance on the account which was $leaving a refund of $which is what we issued the check forWe mailed the check to the last known address that we had on file
The mail has not been returned by the post office as of the date of this letterIf after an appropriate time has passed and we do not receive the mail back, we will void the check and re-issue and send it to the address you provided for the customer

I ** [redacted] want the full refund 250.00 deposit, I paid my Bill, if the city gave utility to another person illegally its not my usage. I paid my bill and told the city to stop my water usage, because I was no longer at the address, they need to bill the person that stole the water without my permission.
