well as professionalismAfter speaking to *** *** on April **, 2015, it appears that there was a misunderstanding on her partWhen *** *** came in to our office on March **, to submit her application along with the non-refundable fee, she was aware that the apartment she would be submitting her application for was in the process of being renovated, that her application fee was non-refundable ( as per the agreement which she signed) and would be available for move in on the specified dateAfter seeing the outside of the construction site where the apartment is located, *** *** decided that she did not want that apartment based on the locationShe requested to see our other available apartments, despite being approved and accepted as well as accepting to wait for the original apartmentOur staff worked to try and find *** *** another apartment in an area that she felt better suited her familyUnfortunately, what *** *** wanted we were not able to find in the time frame she requested, given our availability was limited given she had secured the original apartmentAfter our conversation on April **, 2015, *** *** let us know that she had found another apartment with another firmI was not able to offer her to view the apartments we currently have available for a move in date of June *** that accepts her subsidyAt this present time, despite our policy of the non-refundable application fee, we decided to refund *** *** her application fee without prejudice to the credit and criminal background check that was processed on her behalfWhen *** *** is ready to move again, we would like to offer our services for all her real estate needs!

Review: On March **, 2015 I paid CityScapes Realty of New York $100 believing that they would help find me an apartment. They guaranteed me that I would get an apartment. As of today April *, 2015 I havent seen an apartment yet.They haven't called me to schedule an appointment yet. well they did tell me to see an apartment that wasnt ready to rent and no one came to show it. I have spoken to them since then and was told that someone will call me and still nothing. I was told that the money was non refundable. So basically I just walked into their office and gave them $100 for free.Desired Settlement: I would like my money back because they didnt render any service to me. I havent seen an apartment nor have they called me to view one. I dont have monet to just give a way..

After seeing the outside of the construction site where the apartment is located, [redacted] decided that she did not want that apartment based on the location. She requested to see our other available apartments, despite being approved and accepted as well as accepting to wait for the original apartment. Our staff worked to try and find [redacted] another apartment in an area that she felt better suited her family. Unfortunately, what [redacted] wanted we were not able to find in the time frame she requested, given our availability was limited given she had secured the original apartment. I was not able to offer her to view the 4 apartments we currently have available for a move in date of June [redacted] that accepts her subsidy. At this present time, despite our policy of the non-refundable application fee, we decided to refund [redacted] her application fee without prejudice to the credit and criminal background check that was processed on her behalf. When [redacted] is ready to move again, we would like to offer our services for all her real estate needs!
