Good Afternoon,Multiplan was not in any manner involved in this transaction. It sounds like [redacted] has a valid complaint but it would be against "[redacted]" and whatever company he works for.  [redacted] can provide you the proper company name by calling the phone #...

for  Jason and from there the complaint can be further facilitated against Jason and the company he works for. Please feel free to re-contact me if you have other questions.Thank you....

Revdex.com:At this time, I have not been contacted by Multiplan, Inc. regarding complaint ID [redacted]. However the unwanted solicitation calls have stopped. Sincerely,
[redacted]

[redacted] Wrote the following: "The number I called was the number listed on the back of the Multiplan card which I attached at the beginning of this complaint. The only other number I've called is the salesperson Freddie's #, ###-###-#### [redacted] However he has gone MIA. So I was then transferred somewhere else.  Any attempt to call has lead to representatives tranferring me to other departments/companies saying that they do not handle what I need. I suspect this is by design making it nearly impossible to get any issue handled. My position stands and clearly the companies response to my complaint indicates that they are not willing to take responsibility."[redacted] continues to refuse to acknowledge that MultiPlan is the provider network and only the provider network. The phone number she has provided is not associated with MultiPlan and that her authorization to be financially charged and to voluntarily enroll in whatever she enrolled in has nothing to do with MultiPlan based on every piece of information she provided. Ms . Webb would be best served by looking at her bank or credit card statement or looking at the agreement that she signed for documents that she verbally agreed to and call or write the entity that she voluntarily went into contract with. This entity is not Multiplan.MultiPlan has responded promptly, fully and accurately each time to the Revdex.com including the offer to assist in a situation it has no involvement in.However we called the number she provided above and reached "Matthew" who was routing our inquiry to the right area. The Member ID # to [redacted]'s card was provided to Matthew as well as the acknowledgement of a complaint filed by [redacted] to the Revdex.com. It was not discussed whether [redacted] was simply confused and needs to be educated on what she voluntarily signed up for or if she received something of less or no value compared to what she was told she was signing up for. Also of note, there are very clearly company names having nothing to do with MultiPlan on the ID card that direct [redacted] who to call for eligibility, benefits and claim questions. Our recommendation is that [redacted] dial the number herself, get the name of who she speaks to and if she can not get satisfaction, obtain the mailing address for a formal complaint and mail her complaint with a copy to the office of the Attorney General - New York State.Should MultiPlan be contacted by someone at the phone # [redacted] provided, we will pass along that correspondence to the Revdex.com.At this stage, MultiPlan is removing itself from further correspondence in the absence of any new information indicating MultiPlan involvement and we wish [redacted] the best.

Sorry to hear about this consumers situation but I am certain that she has mistakenly listed MultiPlan in the complaint. MultiPlan is a medical provider network and not an insurer and does not write policy’s. We are not a health plan nor a supplemental plan. We don’t issue insurance cards, policy...

numbers charge premiums, access bank accounts, credit cards or administer benefits. The phone number listed in the complaint is not ours and the supervisors names listed in the complaint is not our employee. Thank you....

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

As I've pointed out. These buainesses have organized themselves in such a way that they claim no responsibility and point the fingers at other companies. This is an Umbrella Corporation that is lying to people during the sales process in order to get their money. Multiplan insist they have nothing to do with these other companies however we are holding a card with all of their names on it. If multiplan doesn't  have anything to do with these companies then why are they issuing "health insurance" cards together.  I am looking at bank statements and pursuing a chargeback.  There is nothing more for me to "educate" myself on... But thanks for the recommendation.

Good Morning [redacted] I believe [redacted] has mistaken MultiPlan for a different organization. The details of what she wrote may have taken place but did not take place with MultiPlan. She should be able to provide you a copy of her ID card or debit card statement and the phone # in which...

she dialed and spoke to "freddy". MultiPlan is not an insurance company or an administrator. MultiPlan does not offer prescription benefits and does not reimburse physicians, hospitals, or other healthcare providers for their services. MultiPlan does not pay claims, determine eligibility, or make benefit determinations of any kind. MultiPlan does not debit bank accounts and is not involved in credit card transactions. Sincerely, Adam A[redacted]

Good Afternoon, Two voicemails prior to today have gone without a reply. An e-mail was sent today in an attempt to reach [redacted] - Daytime Phone: ###-###-#### E-mail: [redacted]. Our sender has been Erika P[redacted] at Multiplan. [redacted] lists the name of "Virgil...

G[redacted]" as the sales person in her complaint. We don't employ a person by that name and based on the little else in the complaint, we don't believe this is related to Multiplan. We will try one more attempt later this week to [redacted].  Thank you....[redacted]
