City Side Tours

Review: My daughter, daughter-in-law and myself bought a ticket for the Statue by Night Pier 16, we showed up at 6:30 Pm the tour was to leave at 7:30. There was a long line and when we got to the front we were told the boat had sold out. We were not able to take the tour the next day because we were leaving. When we bought the tickets we were led to believe we had a ticket on the boat. We were not told we only had a voucher until we got to the pier and were told we had to stand in line to exchange it for a ticket. We were not the only people in that line that were told the same thing. This is a misrepresentation of what we were sold. We went to the office the next day and filled out paperwork for a refund of $31.00 each. My daughter, Nichole R[redacted], has been in contact with this company since Sept *, 2015 several times until they refused to answer her emails. When she sent them a message that she had filed a complaint with the Revdex.com she received an email(within 5 minutes) stating that she would receive her refund within 3-5 business days. I sent them an email on behalf of myself and my daughter-in-law and stated that we would not go through the long drawn out process that my daughter has to receive our refund. It is a shame that companies take money from tourists and then don't perform the services promised or give refunds without having to go through this process.Desired Settlement: Refund of $31.00 to each of the following people: myself, Marla Heilman, Nichole R[redacted], and Angie Heilman.
