I am aware of this customers complaint about a piece of steel that was made too short by my vendorThe new part was ordered last week and it will be ready in 1-weeks
My tech that inspected the door last week informed me that the roll up door and motor ARE WORKINGTherefore I CANNOT issue a refund
I will gladly contact you when the part arrives so you can set up the date and time with this customer at their convenience to install the new partHowever, NO REFUND of any kind will be issued to this customer

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

 This is in reference to my complain against City Gates Store Manufacturing Co Inc ID#3[redacted] In order to resolve this dispute City Gate promised to remove an improperly installed shutter gate at 231-32 126 ave, Springfield Gardens New York and refund my monies of $1,*50.00(one thousand eight hundred and fifty dollars). The agreed removal date was set for  on August *, 2016 . I called City Gates a week before  to confirm the removal date and their answer was affirmative. On August  *, after waiting for more than one hour I called City Gates to inquire of their technicians whereabouts.  City Gates responded an hour later stating that they will not remove the shutter gate because I filed a small claim case against them. I informed them that the claim will become  void and null once the shutter gate is removed.  This Queens county small case hearing is not until 2017, that is more than enough time to settle this case amicably. In view of this demand  I wish to reopen my case  This is a rejection to their response.

I received an order from this customer for two roll up doors.I priced the doors for solid and for grille.The customer informed me that they were afraid that someone would break their glass so they opted for solid in place of grille.On Monday I received a call from this customer they wanted to know...

why solid was installed.  I informed the customer that the salesman Max was out for a few days but when he returned I would have him meet the customer to discuss this matter face to face.  Max returned to work this afternoon. Please set up a meeting with the customer for Monday 9-** between the hours of 10am and noon.

This customer ordered a custom roll up door. He did not like the door. He came to my office and requested a refund. I offered him a refund payable by check, he demanded cash. I made two appointments to meet him at his home. He did not show up for the appointments. I will return is payment via...

company check after the roll up door has been removed.I can send me crew to remove the door on August * or on August * between the hours of 10am and 2pm.

this customer is not correct and must have a lot of time on his hands.that being said I will remove the door and issue a refund in the form of a check.the customer must fill out a release before I set up the removal and issue the refund...

Review: City Gates installed 5 motoroized gates at my business less than a year ago. They were very fast to take money from us but now that we need service they do no tshow up. I called for service for one of the gates on Sept **, 2014 and a service guy came with no tools or ladder and said he wil be back in two hours with another guy. They never came back and I have called the office everyday since and everyday I am promised that someone will show up and no one ever does. The [redacted] actually got on the phone on Saturday Spetember **, 2014 and started to curse me out when I called again for service.Desired Settlement: If they do not repair the problem I will take legal action for a full refund for the gate that does not work.

Review: In August we had a rolling gate installed at our property. The gate built wrong, poor workmanship, and non functional gate.

We tired calling them several times for repair. It took them several weeks to send someone and still no repair. Two other people have come to look at it and still no repair.Desired Settlement: Since we seem to be unable to resolve this with a repair after various calls we would like a refund.
