Complaint[redacted] ( Manager) has been very disrespectful to myself and my Friend during my whole stay. My air condition/heater would not work all the time and when it did it was very loud. My shower nob was broke and it took a very long time to get it to turn on and off. My toilet handle had to be held down the whole time you flushed for it to go down. I stayed there for almost a week, the last morning I stayed there I was walking to answer the door and my feet got soaked in water. I went to finally complain so they could switch me to a different room. The manager rudely said he would send the maintenance man in to try to fix the problems. The man came tried to tell me it wasn't the toilet, I take it the was trying to say I soaked the floor. I, myself had tried to turn the water off ( WHICH DIDNT WORK EITHER BTW) because the water would not stop overflowing. the toilet was draining so bad it soaked the carpet in the room. He said he would change the nob on the shower and told me there was nothing wrong with the air/heating unit, said he had fixed it the week before. when the unit was on it was louder than the tv and it did not heat or cool the room my whole stay. The manager came in and he rudely stated he was not going to change me rooms. I stated there was no reason for him to give me such a rude tone and comments. I asked to speak to the person above him and he told me that he would make sure that, that wouldn't happen. All I wanted was a room that had no problems. I had paid $57 dollars a night there to be very disrespected. I finally had enough of the disrespect I asked for a refund for that night and I went to another hotel. I have never had any problems such as this at any other hotel and as long as that manager stays there I will make sure my friends who have companies and close friends and family will all know about this man. We will never stay there again as long as that man is working there. This was a horrible experience. I believe the owner should be aware of his manager.Product_Or_Service: A hotel roomDesired SettlementI want to speak with the owner myself to explain the situation and I would like the manager to be present. I believe some kind of action should be taken before this happens again to another customer. Business Response THE GUEST IN QUESTION MR [redacted] CAME TO ME AND PERSONALLY APOLOGIZE FOR HIS GUEST THAT WAS IN HIS ROOM CAUSING THIS DISRUPTION. THE GUEST MENTION IN THIS COMPLAINT IS STILL A GUEST AT MY HOTEL AND IS VERY HAPPY WITH HIS STAY. HE JUST WANTED HER OFF THE PROPERTY. MY MAINTENANCE MAN WENT TO THIS ROOM AND FIXED THE A/C AND CHECK THE WATER PROBLEM. MY MAINTENANCE MAN STATED THE WATER CAME FROM THIS FEMALE LEAVING THE SHOWER CURTAIN ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE TUB CAUSING THE WATER DAMAGE. A SIMPLE ATTEMPT TO GET ANOTHER ROOM. LIKE I STATED BEFORE [redacted] IS STILL A GUEST AT MY HOTEL AND IS HAPPY WITH HIS STAY.
