The [redacted] promised reimbursement for part if it was returned. My vehicle was serviced on 3/15/13 for a left front bearing due to noise. Mileage at time was XXXXXX. In October was brought back for noise. Another garage who did my oil change and said there was a noise. I returned back to [redacted] and told them [redacted](at the time [redacted]). They pulled it into the bay and came back and told me that the left front bearing needed to be tightened and [redacted] said it was allset. On May 11, 2014 my ABS light came on and I drove to Amherst and looked at my manual for my vehicle. I had my vehicle towed to a garage in Easthampton. Upon investigation the garage found the left front bearing shorted out the brakes due to grease from the hub. The left side front also failed state inspection.I had the car repaired the next day. I called [redacted] to see if I could get a refund for the hub. Seeing it only has 13,397 miles on it. They informed me they couldn't due anything because they didn't have the part to return to their supplier for credit. I told them I had the part. So they said to come on in and we would discuss what we can do. On May 18 @ 7:18am I arrived with the part and [redacted] V. P. and I discussed what we could do. [redacted] agreed to give me a full refund on the part $180.58 and he took the part. I also asked about the labor, you in formed me you could not give me anything. I told him I paid $80.00 to have part put in. Then 14 months later another $72.00 to put new one in and take out bad one. So a brief silence you said I will meet you half way for the labor $40.00. He said I would receive a check for $220.58 the following Monday or Tuesday May 19 or 20, 2014. I called him on Wednesday of that week, you said it was mailed. I waited till after Memorial Day and you said if I don't have it by Wednesday that week you would take it out of the register. I started calling and left messages and he never called back. After numerous calls (around 17 of them) and left messages and several promises, ranging from its in the mail, not enough in register and give it time. You also said you are a man of your word. I lived up to my end of the bargain and trusted him with the part. I informed him that if he paid me out of the register I would return the check if I received it. Since he didn't come threw with his promise, I am requesting for payment of $260.58 which is a penalty of the time and numerous phone calls.Desired SettlementRefund of the cost of the original part of $180.58 and labor of $80.00 total due is $260.58.Business Response I agree this could have been handled better. I also agree that Mr. [redacted]. is entitled to the extra compensation he has requested due to our inaction. Check #[redacted], in the amount of $260.58 will be mailed today to the address listed above. Please extend my apologies to Mr.[redacted]

Vehicle was picked up at Worcester Tire. Car was in worse condition than it was upon arrival.Vehicle was picked up at Worcester Tire. I was given a hand written receipt by an employee, [redacted]. A check was given to [redacted] in the amount of $2500. [redacted] advised that the check not be written out to anyone at this time as he was unsure what Worcester Tire would advise. Upon picking the vehicle up at Worcester Tire (after hours) I became aware that no services paid for were performed. The brakes were as bad if not worse upon arrival at Worcester Tire. The check engine light was on, which was not upon arrival at Worcester Tire. My vehicle was rummaged through, phone chargers stolen, the car had an additional 200 plus miles on it. Long story short, [redacted], an employee at Worcester Tire, ripped my family off and left us with a vehicle that could not pass [redacted] as told to me by a mechanic. The mechanic states nothing on receipt was replaced. I have contacted City Tire, [redacted] of Worcester Tire, whom have confirmed [redacted] as being an employee, no record of "[redacted]" whom was listed as the recipeint of the check. Worcester Tire should put a stop to [redacted] aka [redacted] from running such scams from their garages. The [redacted] of this company have not been willing to help. They would not agree to honor the tire warranty.Desired SettlementI am requesting a refund. My attorney has advised me to file a claim. With that claim will include Worcester Tire's knowledge of employees being paid under the table, and confirming them as "side jobs".Business Response I am currently negotiating with the customer to come to a negotiating settlement. For the record however, [redacted] and/or [redacted] is not and has not been an employee of Worcester Tire ever. However, we understand the customer was mislead by [redacted] and presented himself as a Worcester Tire employee and we continue to strive for a mutual agreement.Final Business Response We have increased our original settlement amount to $2400, we are awaiting their response.
