Every interaction I've had with City Ventures has been horridThey disregard every request to rectify items and they so obviously don't care about their customers, just their bottom dollarThey love differing responsibility under the guise of things out of warrantyWe purchased a new home several years ago and the job completed on our home has been shoddy at bestIf they did thing s correctly and with pride in their business, there would be no reason to complainInstead I have a long list of items that were done poorlyI will never purchase another home from them nor refer anyone to themTerrible, terrible company

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is still pending with the City Ventures Representative.I have forward to him my email, and attached images of my water bill surcharge that as a homeowner neither I nor other homeowners who purchased the condo through City Ventures were aware of such charge added on to our water bill. It would be satisfactory to me, once City Ventures resolves their matter. I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does,I will consider this complaint resolved.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
First, this response is very overdue...it's been months since I filed my complaint. Second, no genuine attempt to resolve my complaint has been made...just an offer to put me in touch with an executive. Why, if there was a genuine desire to resolve my complaint, didn't the decision-maker (the executive) respond him/herself? Third, this company has no fulfilled a single promise made to myself or any other resident of [redacted] in Windsor after we gave up our parking spaces for them for almost a year. They promised to resurface and repaint parking space markings...NOTHING! They promised to resurface the "alley" between their building and ours...but they simply patched their excavations; it looks HORRIBLE!

City Ventures is the most unprofessional, unhelpful, greedy, and incompetent builders you can find. We made the mistake of putting a down payment on a townhouse three years ago. It took them a year to give us the home (a full 7 months AFTER the date they assured us it would be ready) and in the year we have been living in the house we have had numerous issues. They are impossible to get a hold of and when you can finally find someone they are extremely rude. None of the contractors and builders they use are Union so the work is shoddy at best. They did not build individual water meters for each house yet they expect us each to pay an individual bill.

Review: City ventures refused to return my refundable reservation check.

Upon cancellation and before signing the contract, I asked that the contract be canceled and that city ventures return my refundable hold check. [redacted] (the sales manager) claimed a technicality and said she would call the home office to clear the technicality up and call me to come pick up the check. Upon not receiving a call from them, I stopped into the [redacted] sales office and spoke with [redacted] She claimed that the person in the home office who could reverse the reservation and allow me to get my check back was in meetings all day.Desired Settlement: I would like city ventures to return my hold check since we canceled the contract before signing it.
