Taxi was 40minutes late causing me to miss my flight. Also, cab was in very poor condition, with exhaust fumes coming inside the car. No apology!I called on Friday 3/11/14 to reserve a ride to the airport the next am for a 6am flight. I requested they arrive at 5am. At 5 am, there was no taxi, so I called. The dispatcher says "oh he'll be 10 or 15 min late." This was okay with me because I thought even with that, I should make my flight. 5:15am rolls around, no cab, no call. So, I called them again. "he's around the corner from you." then another 10 min go by and nothing. I called again. "can you call the driver at ###-####." I did. The driver asks what my address is and which apt complex! Obviously, he was NOT AROUND THE CORNER! Finally he gets to my gate with me still on phone, he asks me my name. I couldn't believe it. I has given the gate code and my name when I made reservation. I tell him [redacted] Desired SettlementFirst, I would like an apology. Obviously my time is worth a lot. I was robbed of 5 hours with my family, as I was stuck in an airport waiting for a chance to re-book available seat on a subsequent flight. I make at least $100/hr in one of my income source. I think my time lost is at least worth that$500. Even though I wasn't working, the torture of waiting well accounts for that. I at least deserve half that, $250 plus a $30 refund. I think that is fair. I was depending on the service this company agreed to provideand had provided successfully in the past for me. They failed to hold up their end of the agreement, costing me time and frustration.
I ordered cab on 9-1-15 to pick me up on 9-2-15 at 4:15am. The taxi did not arrive and I had to pay huge parking fees ($90) and almost missed flight. I ordered a cab on 9-1-15 to pick me up on 9-2-15 at 4:15am. The taxi did not arrive and I had to rush to the airport and pay huge parking fees ($90) and almost missed my flight. After three weeks of emailing and calling, [redacted] (CEO) finally called me back. He stated that they incorrectly ordered the cab into their system for 4:15pm rather than 4:15am. He apologized and offered to reimburse my $90. I never received a check and now he will not return my calls or emails. I'm disappointed by the company's service and his lies. I've shared my story with many friends and colleagues. I would appreciate your help with looking into this matter, and I'd be happy to share my experience with the local media. Desired SettlementI am seeking the promised reimbursement of $90 and have phone evidence of this.
