We worked with Christopher [redacted] at Citywide after hail damage to our home, garage and barnsThe repair was extensive and involved both asphalt shingles and metal roofingThe quality of the repairs and the customer service were both excellentI would use Citywide again and would recommend them to others

I have nothing but GREAT things to say about Citywide RoofingI put in a request to have my back patio flat roof looked at and Chris was right there to helpHe got things done for me in a timely manner and kudos to himI have worked with him before when you replaced my entire roof, he was always easy to get a hold of if I had any questionsGood Job Chris Linda ***

Chris R was such a delight to work with he manged the repair to our house from the hail stormHe brought everything up to code like my roof venting systemHe was very knowledgeable and a pleasure to work withHe was able to get insurance to pay for everything that was missedI really recommend Citywide Roofing and ask for Chris R as your Project Manger he will take care of you

I would like to give STARS to the men who I worked with at Citywide RoofingJustin [redacted] was the first person I came in contact with, he knew his job well and took all the pressure off me as he did all the dealing with my Insurance CompanyHe was here everyday to make sure things were going rightI could have not asked for a better man to work with as he cared about everythingThen one day a man named Joseph stopped by to make sure it was ok that they start a day laterNow company's just don't do that....but Citywide Roofing does, The last day before everything was to be completed I met a gentleman name Chris [redacted] (i think he is the top guy?) we talked about what was going to happen the next dayThey still had to get the last shingles off the top of the roof so they would not be able to move the big truckTold him that would be fine I would work again with Justin & Chris (kudos to them both) again anytimeMost of the neighbors are using your company, we are all so pleased with the wonderful service you gave us Thanks for having such a fabulous team and not feel like I was just another number or being taken for my money Linda J

Chris Rhas made the whole process of hail damage repair to my parents' home so easy for us to navigate as he has walked us through every step from meeting with our insurance adjuster to the actual repairs themselvesDue to the many homes in this area affected by the damage, Chris must have a lot of various clients to juggle, but he is always quick to respond to any inquiries we have We have certainly been impressed with Chris' commitment to serviceCitywide did a great job on the roof, and we look forward to working with Chris in the spring on the other damage to the outside of the house

We are very pleased with our new roof and the men who installed itAll were very courteous and hard workersThe cleanup was fantastic! The Project Manager, Chris, went the extra mile to insure that the work was done to our satisfactionGreat Job!

Citywide Roofing has been great to work with for the hail damage on my roofAs I'm sure most homeowners are, I was hesitant to actually follow through and report the hail damage claim on my roof after Citywide came by and gave me a free estimateAfter talking with Chris from Citywide, I reported the hail damage to my insurance and that was really all I had to doCitywide worked directly with my insurance so I didn't have to, and even better the new roof was scheduled and done within weeks of my claim estimateThe roof was basically completed all in one day while I was at work so I didn't have to deal with the noise or the messI definitely recommend Citywide Roofing if you're looking for a honest and straightforward roofing company

Tell us why here...Good morning: We're writing in response to the complaint filed with the Revdex.com by [redacted] First, we'd like to say that we're sincerely sorry that Mrs [redacted] isn't happy with the deck replacement we did for her, though we're confused as to whyAdditionally, we weren’t aware of any issues related to the windows until the deck became an issueThe window work was done back in November of last yearWe did enter into a contract with Mrs [redacted] on 6/6/We agreed to do the work on the insurance scope of loss less the items Mrs [redacted] asked us not do which was work related to HVAC and repairs to some lattice on her propertyWe also did not paint the interior side of the newly installed garage doors as we’ve never had a customer request the inside portion of their garage doors to be paintedShe was credited back that portion of the insurance proceeds for interior garage door painting not doneThe work we did do per the insurance scope of loss was the roof, gutters, windows, paint, overhead garage doors, skylight flashing , fireplace chase cover, and deckAgain, in accordance with the DETAILED insurance scope of lossWe have had several conversations with Mrs [redacted] recently both by telephone and by emailIt wasn't until the project was completed that we first heard of any issues related to the deck installation or windows, even though the windows were done last NovemberIn fact issues related to the windows weren't even brought up until well after deck issues were being discussedUpon being notified of deck related issues, Granby H [redacted] , one of our managers called Mrs [redacted] to inquireMrs [redacted] said she was un-happy with the deck because it had more knots in the wood then her previous deck hadShe also mentioned that there were a couple of issues with the "cut's" on the handrailsShe thought the redwood that was used was inferior quality, that B-grade was a better quality and should have been usedShe also thought the deck was poorly installed, and that she didn't want to pay us for the work that was doneMrH [redacted] told her we'd be happy to send the sub contractor that built the deck back out to address any issues she may haveThis offer was extended several times and the offer still stands todayMrs [redacted] not only refused our offer(s), but said she wanted the deck to be removed, also at our expenseMrH [redacted] explained that the redwood used was a con heart redwood and was actually an excellent quality redwood productHe explained the con heart is equal in quality to B-grade and that the difference in the two types comes down to appearanceMrH [redacted] explained that B-grade was never requested by her, let alone documented contractuallyNor was it specified in the insurance paperworkIn fact, according to the project manager, he explained to Mrs [redacted] that con heart redwood was being used and that is was a better quality wood then the redwood being replacedWe would also like to note that at one point, the project manager had the opportunity to speak with the gentleman that built the original deckDuring that conversation the gentleman told our project manager that the original deck he built was with construction grade redwoodThat being the case, the wood we used was a significant upgrade over the wood we replacedMr H [redacted] went on to ask Mrs [redacted] why she never voiced any concerns to anyone at Citywide Roofing during the plus days it took to replace and stain the new decking (approximately 7-days)Mrs [redacted] said that she never saw the new wood during that time period as she "went to work when it was dark, and got home from work when it was dark"After speaking with both the project manager and the subcontractor, we were told that Mrs [redacted] was at home several times while the work was being done, and actually walked the project with the subcontractor on at least two occasionsBoth the project manager and the sub contractor said that Mrs [redacted] on both occasions said how pleased she was with the deck though she did ask for a couple of minor issues to be addressed....all of which were addressed to include sanding out an area of the deck that her dog urinated on before it was stainedBeing confused by the conflicting stories, MrH [redacted] emailed Mrs [redacted] asking her to clarify her stance, that she never saw the deck while the work was in processMrs [redacted] never respondedThe sub contractor also noted that after the deck was completed, Mr [redacted] walked the job with him and told him how pleased he was with the deck, complimented the subcontractor on the quality of his craftsmanship and actually asked for the sub contractors business cardAgain, when MrH [redacted] inquired about the conversation between Mr [redacted] and the subcontractor, again, there was no responseAlso pertaining to the deck issueIt is true that the wood on the stairs was not replacedThat was at Mrs [redacted] 's request(Something to do with her dog)The material for the steps was purchased and is on-siteWe told Mrs [redacted] that when she wants the wood on the steps replaced, to please notify us and we will be happy to come back out and do that for herThis was before any complaints were ever madeRegarding the invoice issue......we did send Mrs [redacted] an itemized invoicewe explained to Mrs [redacted] that the invoice was done in accordance with the DETAILED insurance scope or work and for the amount of insurance proceeds as agreed upon in our contract, plus her deductibleAt no point in any of our conversations did Mrs [redacted] state that we ever agreed to pay her deductibleThat was never stated until her complaint to the CRAMrs [redacted] 's itemized invoice request was for us to itemize our invoice for every nail, board, shingle, etcthat was used on the jobShe also wanted to know what was paid to our sub contractor's That is not a reasonable request, nor does it matterWe explained that it doesn't make a difference what we paid in labor or materialsOur contract states that we are to be paid insurance proceeds plus her deductible for the work we didThat's all we invoiced for, and are requesting to be paid by Mrs [redacted] No more....no lessWe have received confirmation from her insurance Company that all proceeds have been releasedWe are simply asking to be paid for the work we did as contractually agreed uponMrs [redacted] has refused to do soWe did explain to her that the work has been completed and that after days her account is considered past due, per the contractShe again refused to pay so we very politely and professionally explained that if we didn’t receive payment we would have no choice but to file a lien on her property and turn her account over to our attorney for collectionRegarding the window issue.......Our project manager told Mrs' [redacted] early on that he thought there was enough damage to eight windows to justify window replacementOur project manager spoke with three adjusters in effort to get window replacementAll three refused and would only pay the have the metal wrap replaced on all eight windowsThat's what we didOur project manager walked the job with Mrs [redacted] several times, so she should be well aware of the windows that were damaged and repairedHowever, our project manager would be more than happy to meet with Mrs [redacted] again, along with the window sub contractor that did the work, to again show her which windows were repaired in accordance with what her Insurance Company approvedThe redwood we purchased was from [redacted] LumberThey've been in business for over years and have a excellent reputation for selling quality productsThey are more than willing to attest to the grade and quality of redwood that was purchased for the [redacted] deckMrH [redacted] invited Mrs [redacted] to call [redacted] Lumber with any questions she may have related to the redwood purchased and installed on her deckWe have no intention of removing the deck and/or removing the cost of the deck from our invoice Again, we're more than happy to go out and address any "reasonable" requests that Mrs [redacted] has related to the work done on the deckThe materials alone for the deck was $The labor to install the deck was $After overhead and the project managers commission, our profit is more than reasonableRegarding the permit issue Jefferson county does not require a permit for replacing the walking planks and handrailsThey only require a permit if the deck is being newly constructedWe did not build the deck from the ground upTherefore, a permit was not required In summary, we feel like we've done a great job on the [redacted] home and have done everything possible to work in the [redacted] 's best interest with their insurance Company and to complete the work performed to our high standardsEven in their own words to our project manager and sub contractor's, we believed they thought we had done a great jobWe also feel we've done everything reasonably possible to address Mrs [redacted] s outstanding issuesWe have attached for your review a copy of our contract, a copy of the Insurance scope of work, a copy of our invoice sent to Mrs [redacted] which again coincides with the (detailed) insurance Scope of workThe invoice from [redacted] lumber which clearly indicates the quality/type of redwood purchased and installed and a copy of the subcontractor’s invoice for installing the deckIf you would like any additional information, please feel free to askAdditionally, please note our Revdex.com rating and online reviewsI believe they will attest to the type of Company we are and the high standards we achieve in the industryThank you for notifying us and providing us the opportunity to respondPlease feel free to contact me directly if you have any additional questions or concerns Jeff H [redacted] President,Citywide Roofing and Exteriors, Two roofs were accomplished- 1890's cottage with steep pitch and a detached, flat roof garage which had been damaged by a fallen treeCitywide was there within hours of calling and were able to get a tarp system on the garage to keep the structure from taking on water damageChris Reffalt and the entire team were detail oriented, precise, excellent in making the entire process precise enough to pass inspection and our insurance's standards

Justin with Citywide made shopping for, and replacing a roof about as easy as it could be In my case, Citywide worked directly with my insurance company after a particularly awful wind storm The roofing crew was very professional, and extremely clean My roof looks terrificIf your a busy individual and are looking for somebody to replace your roof, consider CitywideI don't think you will be disappointed
