I am rejecting this response because:Time and time again City Wide Roofing gives an excuse, does not notify you when someone will be sent to your residence and did not remove the old cap that was still on my patio for pick up This last visit, there wasn't a service ticket left at my residence to indicate that work was done but, I appreciate that an new cap was replaced I've lost faith in this business and have told others not to hire them because of how they handle their customers I should not have had to take this route in order to receive service to resolve this matter

This customer called on Friday 9/11/stating her roof was leakingShe wanted someone there that day in the Rain to come do a repairWe let her know at that time that no repair can be done in those conditionsShe stated that "I need a tarp or something" at that time she was advised if she were to do that it may void her warrantyOn Saturday 9/12/we specifically open the shop and sent a service truck to the property in order to complete the repairs needed to stop the leakUpon arrival the technician noticed a tarp had been nailed to the roofHe removed the tarp and removed all the nails that went along with the tarp and siliconed the stucco where an opening had beenHe then went to patch all the holes caused from the nails from the installation of the tarp to the best of his availability at that timeHow does the customer think her warranty is voided when we came out the very next day she called usWe fulfilled our obligation to our warranty but she chose to have a Tarp installed by another company when it clearly states in her contract and warranty and also verbally advised her that a tarp can not be installed by another companyAt this time we feel that the matter is closed due to violation of the warranty that was voided by the customer. We have attached the contract between us and the customer on the bottom it clearly states the warranty is voided if anyone does work on a new roof that is not associated with our companyThank You,City Wide Roofing

I am rejecting this response because: Citywide Roofing, Inc.'s response to my complaint is a total fabrication. I was at my wit's end in getting Citywide Roofing to address my ongoing roof leak and to stand by their warranty. That is the only reason why I contacted Revdex.com to assist me in this matter. Please see the attachments, which in recent emails, I have pleaded with John to come and address the matter.Thank you, in advance, for your assistance in this matter

As we have responded to this customers request to return to fix a leak, in her own words, then set the appointment to meet for better clarity on where the leak was coming occurring
we feel that we have been responding and honoring the warrantyWe will also return again at her request with a day and time

The warranty will say in affect for the years that are remainingThe scope of work that was done by us has nothing to do with the scope of work that needs to be doneTherefore there should be no worries on this customers partThank you

I dispatched a crew to ** *** *** this morning to help with this roof leak, due to the over growth of trees around the property we feel that the debris from the trees was a major contributing factor in causing the issues stated by the home ownerI have and my worker on a previous occasion have
notified the home owner to address the tree issue otherwise he will have continued problems, he did inform me that the trees will be cut down by the weekendThank you, John

Hi,We are attaching our notes from the JobThe customer called us on 9/11/to inform us that she is having a leakWe got out there on 9/12/the day after she called to see the issueWhen our technician arrived on site he saw the top of the wall where the stucco was openHe saw a tarp was
put on the roof and nailed down creating holes in the roofWe then removed the tarp, fixed all the holes that were created by the tarp installationWe then proceed to Caulk and Seal the opening where the stucco isWe do not do any stucco work and was not part of the original contract however we still did the repair as best as we couldWe have not heard of any more complaints since that timeWe responded the day after she called because it was an emergency and did repairs that were not associated with the roofAs far we know the matter was closedThanks,City Wide Roofing

I am rejecting this response because:That is not true the tarp on the roof was removed by the.other roofing company .I was never told the contract will be void all this water was coming in my house and I took the necessary procution to protect my homeWhen I call it was Friday and it was not raining that day the water came in Thursday not Friday it rain Saturday night again the tarp was put on Saturdays morning around am and it was because they said they will not be out until Monday some time and they came Saturday after unannounced I was told my warranty was void when I call on Monday that water came in on SaturdayRegards,

I am rejecting this response because:  I don't know how else to say this.  They are not honoring the warranty dated 3/18/14 and keep claiming they are not able to do the job.  I don't believe this company contracted for a job they cannot not do.  They don't want to do the job for the lower price and that's the bottom line.  They are just plain dishonest, and it shows by the fact that they don't talk to their customers.  Maybe [redacted] (Rafi L[redacted])  should be contacted.  I believe he is the owner of the business.  Maybe he will have a different perspective on this matter.

I am rejecting this response because: I am reluctant to believe that Citywide will act in good faith mainly because of the attitude and tone of all their responses, and that I had to resort to contacting Revdex.com in order to get any action from this company.  Such a company should be proactive in addressing a customer's complaint instead of trying to make the customer seen as the problem, yet  this customer has paid money in full, believing that the work performed would be satisfactory and that such a company would willingly honor its warranty.However, I am requesting that you provide me several dates and times, as well as
rain dates, when you will be able to come, find and repair the ongoing

Due to the rain and that it was Good Friday our employees did not work on Saturday there were 40+ mile an hour winds which again we did not work hence there was no one in the office to call anyone. This customer is requesting additional work be done to her home at the request of the home inspection...

because she has decided to sell the home. Her warranty clearly is for workmanship and material not to do addition work at no cost. Nonetheless, today is Monday the 6th of April and its a beautiful day for roofing. With that being said someone will be there today!
