There is currently no legal case to my knowledgeThe company has threatened civil action but has yet provide validation of the debt per my request I am suspicious that this is a scam and they are trying to use threats and intimidation to get money

Dear representative,We are submitting this formal response in regard to the above referenced complaint by [redacted] (ID # [redacted] ) that was filed against Civil Complaint Services. We find this complaint to be very unjustThis person, [redacted] , owes a bill that originated with ACE Cash Express, which was for a payday advance loanCivil Complaint Services acquired this debt and is the owner of the account.Ms [redacted] has apparently filed this complaint due to a typo in her address, and because this debt is not listed on her credit reportShe also noted that she found another complaint on our company Civil Complaint Services. In response, a simple typo on Ms [redacted] address, and because the debt is not listed on her credit report, of course does not mean she does not owe the bill and that this is fraudWe find those points to be highly irrelevant and outlandish, which appears to be an excuse in not resolving this matterFurther, as a debt collection company, for Ms [redacted] to note that we have had a previous complaint goes to our credit, as it is very unusual in the collection industry for a collection agency to have only one complaint in the history of our companyIn other words, we have virtually never had a complaint in the last three (3) years, which is unheard of considering we currently have over 10,a collection cases.During our conversation with Ms [redacted] , she had agreed to pay a very low settlement (payoff) on her accountShortly thereafter when she failed to make her settlement payment, she sent us an email stating she had been sick and was not able to make the paymentWithin a week later she filed this complaint with the Revdex.comAt no point did she ever dispute this debt, nor did she request documentation of the debtWe would be more than happy to provide all of the original documentation for her account. It is also important to note, that when Ms [redacted] ’s obtained this short-term payday advance loan against her next paycheck with ACE Cash Express, she issued a payment (check) on her loan account with a personal check that was drawn on a closed bank accountMs [redacted] then disappeared, until recently when we located her new address and sent her a letter. Therefore, Ms [redacted] ’s took out this short term payday advance loan, which was done in person and not online, of which required extensive identification and banking informationAfter receiving the funds, she again made payment of the loan drawn on a closed personal checking account and then disappearedThis same person (Ms [redacted] ) who wrote a check on a closed bank account and who has evaded all phone calls and letters for the last few years regarding this matter, is now claiming she was possibly defraudedThis individual has a clear history of avoiding this debt, and her credit history with numerous derogatory credit marks indicates she has been doing these things for many yearsSimply, she has filed this complaint in attempt to once again get out of paying the debt.We hope that this information and response helps to clarify this situation and how outlandish this complaint isWe respectfully request that this complaint does not have a negative impact on our perfect rating with the Revdex.com, as this is our first and only complaint with your organization. Please feel free to call me at the number below if you ever have any questions whatsoever.Respectfully, [redacted] Office Manager Civil Complaint Services

I'm just wanting the public to know that this company is a fraudI recieved a letter from them stating that they were taking legal action to collect money from me for a payday loan that I supposedly took out in I was unemployed without a checking account in and no for a fact that I didn't take out a payday loan from anyone at anytimeThis is the first I've ever heard about this supposed payday loan nor does the bill even show up on my credit report adjuste anywhereI called the company to try and work it out and was only yelled atThe guy I had the pleasure of talking with said he was going to help me out by cutting my bill in half if I paid it in full right nowAs I was explaining to him I wasn't going to pay any of it because I never took out a payday loan, he cuts me out by basically calling me a liar yelling into the phone, " Yes you did! If you would shut up and listen to me; I'm try to help you! Unless you rather we just take you to court?" I responded, " Then I'll see you in court! " and hung upI searched the company online and the first entries were from ripoffreport.com; not a good start! On there website they claim to have been in business for years; however, they replied to a complaint filed on them thru Revdex.com starting they have been in business for yearsNot sure which one to believeAlso in the phone conversation with this company, I asked to see verification of the payday loan with my signature on it; and, he was just more interested in me making some kind of agreement to pay this debtAlso I had only given him my first name; and, he already knew the last numbers of my SS and named off my little sister's name and an old friend of mine from more than years agoAnyways I will share links at the bottom to prove what I have said about this companyBeware!!

Civil Complaint Services

Dear representative,We are submitting this formal response in regard to the above referenced complaint by [redacted] (ID # [redacted]) that was filed against Civil Complaint Services. We find this complaint to be very unjust. This person, [redacted], owes a bill that originated with ACE Cash...

Express, which was for a payday advance loan. Civil Complaint Services acquired this debt and is the owner of the account.Ms. [redacted] has apparently filed this complaint due to a typo in her address, and because this debt is not listed on her credit report. She also noted that she found another complaint on our company Civil Complaint Services. In response, a simple typo on Ms. [redacted] address, and because the debt is not listed on her credit report, of course does not mean she does not owe the bill and that this is fraud. We find those points to be highly irrelevant and outlandish, which appears to be an excuse in not resolving this matter. Further, as a debt collection company, for Ms. [redacted] to note that we have had a previous complaint goes to our credit, as it is very unusual in the collection industry for a collection agency to have only one complaint in the history of our company. In other words, we have virtually never had a complaint in the last three (3) years, which is unheard of considering we currently have over 10,000 a collection cases.During our conversation with Ms. [redacted], she had agreed to pay a very low settlement (payoff) on her account. Shortly thereafter when she failed to make her settlement payment, she sent us an email stating she had been sick and was not able to make the payment. Within a week later she filed this complaint with the Revdex.com. At no point did she ever dispute this debt, nor did she request documentation of the debt. We would be more than happy to provide all of the original documentation for her account. It is also important to note, that when Ms. [redacted]’s obtained this short-term payday advance loan against her next paycheck with ACE Cash Express, she issued a payment (check) on her loan account with a personal check that was drawn on a closed bank account. Ms. [redacted] then disappeared, until recently when we located her new address and sent her a letter. Therefore, Ms. [redacted]’s took out this short term payday advance loan, which was done in person and not online, of which required extensive identification and banking information. After receiving the funds, she again made payment of the loan drawn on a closed personal checking account and then disappeared. This same person (Ms. [redacted]) who wrote a check on a closed bank account and who has evaded all phone calls and letters for the last few years regarding this matter, is now claiming she was possibly defrauded. This individual has a clear history of avoiding this debt, and her credit history with numerous derogatory credit marks indicates she has been doing these things for many years. Simply, she has filed this complaint in attempt to once again get out of paying the debt.We hope that this information and response helps to clarify this situation and how outlandish this complaint is. We respectfully request that this complaint does not have a negative impact on our perfect rating with the Revdex.com, as this is our first and only complaint with your organization. Please feel free to call me at the number below if you ever have any questions whatsoever.Respectfully,[redacted] Office Manager Civil Complaint Services
