I hired ***, owner of CJ Builders of Akron to demo a back porch, build a deck, roof the entire house and put siding on the entire house. he started the job in June of 2017. I expr***d my first concern with warping and waviness of the siding and other issues on 7/21/17. Soon after that siding started falling off in different places on the house and I contacted *** each time. I have contacted *** at least 17 times concerning the siding falling off of the house and poor siding and gutter installation starting before the job was done. My last contact to him was 11/28/18 to see if I should have someone nail my siding back up or if it would be ok for the winter. He said he would be over the next day. I haven't heard from him since. I have copies of all of my communication with *** from 6/2017 to the last one on 11/28/18. My siding is now warped and wavy on all sides of my house and pieces keep falling off because they were cut too short and the siding was not nailed into the studs as they should have been and other places the siding is nailed to tight. One of the excuses I got was "its hard to find good help". That is not my problem. *** told me before he started the job that he would do everything up to code, and I'm finding out that did not happen. I made the mistake of telling him that my husband passed away and putting all of my trust in him. I was clearly taken advantage of as far as not getting quality work and I discussed my concerns with *** to no avail. I don't want this to become a legal matter but it will if need be. I think I have been patient long enough.

Hi ***, this is *** what's CJ builders. I spoke to *** yesterday concerning the above complaint. I have been having trouble responding on the Revdex.com website and I haven't been able to access Internet in my office through my laptop. But I can receive them through my phone and you can call me Direct ***. This is the first and only complaint I have had and I am familiar with the job. She is a very nice lady we were out there a couple times to take care of some minor stuff and I can fill you in when I talk to you but her son what's giving us a lot of Slack thinking we were ripping his mom off. Of course that's not how I do business. That being said this job does need addr***d. I would like to get out there and get the siding taken care of there are some valid complaints that needs fixed. The times I did communicate with her it was either winter and I could not work on siding or I was out of town. Can you please tell me how to move forward. I would like to get out there and get it fixed in the next couple weeks do I contact her directly? Or do I go through you? Just let me know I will do the best of my ability to make this right with this customer. Talk to you soon

*** Unfortunately, I did not see any of the emails that I received from you regarding my complaint until today. Please reopen my complaint, it has not been resolved and Mr J's response has several false statements in it. I have every single correspondence that we have had since this job was started and can provide them if you want them. I can tell you every date that we talked and it was alot. It was not during cold or inclement weather. There has always been some type of excuse and procrastinating. He told me he had 14 other jobs going on at the same time as mine, that it was hard to find good help, that the lumberyard didn't have much wood to choose from, etc, etc. Those issues should not be my problem and the work that I paid for should not suffer because of them. My son was voicing the same concerns about the siding that I was and he was not rude at all. I told my son not to question Jesse anymore because it just made him agitated, which was very unprofessional. Jesse just didn't want to address those concerns. Ok I have been more patient than most would have been but I'm tired of dealing with this. I think he would feel the same way if it was him.So going forward.....On 4/6/19 Jesse texted me to say he wanted to make me a happy customer and that he should have the work done in about 2 weeks. He came to my house on 4/10/19 to check it out, he was here for about 20 min and said he would have to remove the siding and reinstall it with new furring(sp) strips and that he would keep in touch. I just want my siding to be properly installed and until it is please leave my complaint open. Lessoned learned, don't trust people to be honest and never let anyone work without them pulling permits. Please don't close this complaint.I just want my siding put on correctly....I have been trying to get him to do this for almost 2 years now. Even before the job was done. Hopefully it will be done correctly soon. Please help me with my complaint.Thank you.

I understand re-opening this complaint, I have been in contact with Debby however I have not been able to fix the job as of yet. I plan on getting over there as soon as possible to resolve this matter. I will stay in contact with her and the Revdex.com to try and come to terms with the customer. I do not fully agree with some of the statements made by the customer however that is really not relevant. I will try and appease her and we can go from there. I appreciate you keeping me informed as to where she is at with this as well. Thanks Jesse

I am rejecting this response because:
None of the work is being done. He schedules dates and then cancels or no shows. Then I usually wait a a week or so before contacting him hoping that he will let me know what's going on. I know he's busy, but that shouldn't fall on my shoulders. Please reopen my complaint.
