Complaint: I am rejecting this response because: What kind of opportunity are you speaking ofAt this time are you willing to find financing for another vehicle, since you didn't get back to him last time Regards, [redacted]

On the date of July 11, 2015, F* Martin came into CJ Wilson Mazda of Wilson and purchased a Dodge Magnum with 85,miles on the carF* was sold the car as is, since there were no warranties left on the carWhile in
finance F* was offered a choice of different options in regards to warrantyF* refused, even signing stating that he is refuse any type of warranty on his Pre-Owned purchase F* came back to CJ Wilson Mazda of Ventura on 9-21-2015, months later stating that he hears a loud engine noise when starting and the car stallsWe sent the vehicle to a Dodge dealership(Crown Dodge) where the diagnoses was made that the engine would need to be replacedCrown Dodge quoted the repair job to be over $10, F* then contacted both my Service Manager and myself, to see what we can do to help his situation
We (both my Service Manager and myself) met with F* and gave him the option of us (CJ Wilson Mazda of Ventura) installing a used engine and half the cost and offering a payment plan if he did the repair through usF* let us know he would get back to us to make his decision We have not heard back from F* in over weeks, until this morning when I received the complaint through Revdex.com
We at CJ Wilson Mazda pride ourselves in going above and beyond for our customersI believe we did so in offering a 50% price difference then what another dealer was, by offering a used engine option I can fully understand that F* in being upset on what has happened, but to not be truthful and state that we did not care for his situation is incorrect

Hi,
We completely agree that anytime a customer purchases a used vehicle they should consder an extended warrentyWith any type of used vehicle, you never know what can happen at any point, it be day, mile, days, miles etc.. We at CJ WIlson Mazda always want our customers to have a great car buying experienceWe always offer extended warranties on all makes, new or used to ensure that the customers enjoys there vehicle while driving worry free, knowing that their car is completly coveredIn regards to no one getting back to ***, We are not sure what happenedWe would love the oppurtunity to work with *** in the future, in helping with the automotive needs

My name is [redacted], the General Manager here at CJ Wilson Mazda of Ventura.. As I explained to Mr [redacted] when he came in to ask why the price of the vehicle was different online then what he paid for 3 days prior was that Mazda increased the amount of the rebate following the weekend....

Also, Mr. [redacted] states that he paid $20,000 for his vehicle, that is incorrect. The price of the vehicle was $20,300, but Mazda's rebate at the time was $1000, so Mr [redacted] paid $19,300 for the car. Unfortunaltly as a dealership we have no control of when Mazda changes it's rebates. Mazda can decide to add or take any rebate at anytime. In this situation Mazda incresed the rebates on 2014 Mazda 3's. Also, there was an additional $250 rebate for the LA Auto Show. We do appriecate Mr [redacted] for choosing our dealerhsip to make his Mazda purchase.

Hi,

My name is [redacted], the General Manager here at CJ Wilson Mazda of Ventura. I very confused by this complaint from [redacted], since she has only been to our dealership once, when she...

cosigned for the vehcile for her son [redacted]. He story regardinging to what happened to the vehicle is completly untrue as we were in direct contact with [redacted] regarding his vehicle.  [redacted] had his vehicle towed into our dealership on the 2nd of March. [redacted] explained to us that his vehicle had stalled 3 times while driving. When the vehicle was being was being road tested the coolant light came on and the vehicle began to overheat. We then informed [redacted] that the T/Stat housing cracked and needed to be repaired before any other test could be done. [redacted] then brought 2 other gentlemen with him who began argure and complain that we would not give a straight answer regarding the status of his engine. We informed everyone that we could not make any assumptions until the T/Stat housing was done. The men [redacted] came with called another mechanic, who agreed with us that the T/stat housing needed to be done before anything else could be diagnosed. The charge for that was between $300-$400. [redacted]'s 2 friends wanted us to make a judgement on his engine, and we would not until the T/stat housing was done. [redacted] stated that he understood and he apologized for how rude his 2 friends were during the converstaion. [redacted] then left his his friends and came back 30 minutes  stating he called the bank and vouluntarily had his car repossesed. I stated that I was willing to help him get a different vehicle by taking his car in on trade, but after he called the bank there was nothing I could do. So [redacted] was never here on the 2nd of March, her story has a lot of missing pieces and I'm sure since her credit has been ruined by a repossision she is upset.  I know how many times I was at your dealership and it wasn't one time only. But I do know that three people are telling me the same story and you are saying something different. I know that there will be no solution to this problem I just want the customer to be aware when they buy a used car  they should always buy a extended warranty of they can afford to.  I also know that when [redacted] went in with the finance manager he told [redacted] that he would trade in the car for another car but he couldn't because the loan company had already reported the buy for the broke down car to the credit reporting agencies. Then we were told that they couldn't do it because the car had been repossess. The loan company said we could have the car back but it had to be done soon or they would sell the car at auction. We called CJ Wilson to let them know but received no call back. And to respond to the service manager about my credit being hurt because of the care repossession It doesn' t bother me because my husband died from Cancer a while ago and I have so many medical bills that I have to file bankruptcy anyway. I just want the buyers to be aware when they buy a used car. I am realistic about this situation not emotional.

Review: I purchased my car on November 15th, 2014. I on Monday the 17th I was browsing their website and noticed that the car had a discount of $2,000. Price I got it for was $20,000 plus tax. I went in that week trying to get that price but they denied me. Now I came back to try to submit this and now they have a $3k discount on the car for the price of $17,600 and so. I really think it is unfair of them to not honor that price a few days of them selling me the car for a higher price. I tried returning the car but they said no. I do believe that every time you buys something you have time to return it.Desired Settlement: I really like the car. But I think if they want to continue having good business they should work with customers. I really would like the 17,600 or the lower price they are advertising. If you are reading this early December please take a look at their website before they remove it. Thank you for your time.

Review: Bought a used car at Mazda Ventura in July, in September, after driving about 2000 miles, the engine broke down, with only 85000 miles on it, always well maintained, just serviced before I picked it up.And surprise, nobody cares about this, no warranty or anything, just bad luck for me, spending 12000$ in cash for this car, now useless. They would repair it for about 5000$, thank you very much...Desired Settlement: Somebody have to pay for this issue, bought the car just a few weeks ago and drove low mileage...

Review: My son [redacted] purchased a vehicle and I co signed, from C J Wilson Mazda. We put 1000.00 down and then made one payment on vehicle. [redacted] was driving vehicle to work and the car engine stopped on the off ramp and quite running. [redacted] then pushed the vehicle down to a parking lot and walked to work. [redacted] then asked me to come over after he got off work and take him to pick up vehicle. The car started and he drove the vehicle back to C J Wilson, I followed. We left the vehicle over night and the mechanic checked the vehicle next day. The mechanic drove around and told [redacted] that there was nothing wrong with vehicle and so we picked car up and the vehicle did the same thing again. The car was brought back that day and left with mechanic. We called mechanic and he said drive car for the day and see if check engine light comes on and if it does bring vehicle back in. [redacted] drove car the next day and the same thing happened ,and he had the car towed to C J Wilson. The mechanic drove car around to see if check engine light came on and found nothing wrong. He said he would keep car a few days to see if check engine light came on. [redacted] and a friend [redacted] went in and they said they needed to do a 190.00 pressure test without the check engine light coming on. [redacted] said you don't need a pressure test because fluid is coming out of hose. Service manager said they would give [redacted] a rental vehicle and figure out what was wrong with car but before that happened they called [redacted] over and they showed him that radiator housing was ruined due to overheating to many times. The car never overheated the whole time [redacted] owned the car. [redacted] was asked to pay for housing put they all thought that the rod in engine was blown but because of legal reasons they couldn't confirm without the housing being fixed first, the rod would cost 6000.00 to fix. They said that they would do another car put the loan had been reported to credit bureau already so they couldn't give us a new loan.Desired Settlement: At the very least CJ Wilson should have inspected the car and seen that the car had overheated before [redacted] and I bought the car. I'm realistic about what can happen when you buy a used car but CJ Wilson should have some pride in the product they are selling even if it is a used product. This situation has hurt our credit now and has really put us both in a bind trying to get to work has become very difficult and now it is impossible to get a new car loan.
