Review: On October 10, 2014, I purchased a 2002 Lexus GS300 from CJacks's Autos. I signed the paperwork and picked it up the next day, Saturday, October 11, 2014. When I test drove it, it has 2 lights on the dash board. I was told by [redacted] to drive the car for a week to see if they would go out. Well they did not. I called and told them they did not. I was told to bring the car in on Monday, October 20, 2014. They did not complete the work until Thursday, October 23, 2014. I went down I picked up my car. [redacted] was very upset and told me that he had to spend $325.00 to get the lights turned off. Before I drove away, I did not leave until 20 minutes later due to a problem with the car. The belt next to the alternator was making a loud noise when NEVER occurred before. One of his men stood in front of the car and continually sprayed oil on the belt. He told me that "the belt was dry and it needed it". I wasn't until a couple of weeks after that, the alternator went out. I called [redacted] and told him and he told me that he was not responsible for it. I told him that I was told that there was a 2 month warranty on the car and he said that that was not covered. I had my mechanic replace the alternator and the belt. When [redacted]'s guy sprayed the belt, caused damage to the alternator. I did not have that problem with the car until I left it with [redacted] and the lights were turned off. I have tried to get ahold of [redacted] and he will not take my phone calls. He leaves text messages telling me to "text him". He does not answer the phone calls. I called the office and they cannot do anything to help me get ahold of him. They will not make it right either. I put down $1,500.00 on this auto and my auto payment is due in less than a week. I have no car to drive. It will not start and it is inoperable. I have put out money to fix the alternator and belt but it still does not work and I do not have more money to fix it.Desired Settlement: I would like the dealer to make it right and speak to me on the phone NOT text messaging.

In response to Ms. [redacted] statements we would like to clarify the following;We provided Ms. [redacted] with a free loaner car to assure her transportation, while she had left her vehicle with us to address the dash lights for 4 days.One of the belt pulleys needed lubrication, which was addressed by lubricating the pulley with the appropriate spray. In no way was the alternator touched or sprayed on.We are sorry for all the trouble, Ms. [redacted] has had with this vehicle and want to note that this vehicle was checked thoroughly by a licensed technician before delivery.We asked Ms. [redacted] to have her vehicle towed to our facility and have it checked for any electrical issues, but she chose to do the repairs at her own mechanic instead. It is our understanding that the vehicle is driving fine at this point and we will be unable to provide any further financial or warranty assistance for this client.Best Regards,CJacks Autos Inc.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

In regards to them asking me to have my vehicle towed to their facility, that was never offered. What [redacted] had said is that I was on my own. They were not responsible for the repairs and the 60 day warranty that had initialed for did not cover the alternator, just the transmission and engine only. It wasn't until I told them that I got the car fix and was going to lodge a complaint, [redacted] asked for the alternator. He wanted his mechanic to look at it. I told him that it was turned into the company for the core charge. If they had offered in the first place to have my vehicle towed to their facility, I would have done that and why would I put out all the monies to have it repaired in the first place with my mechanic if that was offered?
