CJ's Lawn & Landscaping

I hired this company to remove weeds and put mulch down and put edging around an area in my back yard. Not a big area... The owner came out and I explained what I wanted done. He gave me a quote of $750.00. He said it was an all day job. He didn't contact me when they would come out. I had to call him. Both of my kids start work around 12. The landscape crew came out just as they were leaving the house. I got home at 3:15 and the crew was gone. All I could see was cheap mulch scattered and nothing else. I called to see if they were coming back to finish. The owner said they were done. They were supposed to remove weeds,but he said they sprayed and they would die the next day. He said they put in natural edging. I was assuming decorative since the cost was so high. The weeds never died so they didn't spray because I had to do it myself and they were dead the next day. I could have done this myself! I wanted it done professionally. He ended up charging me 500.00 which was still too much for putting a cheap layer of mulch down. I told him to come and see the job but he never did. I work hard for my money. If I can do things myself, I do. I wanted the weeds removed because they will just grow back next year. I was very disappointed.
