My apologies for recommending a carpenter/handyman we used for word work and other various projects in the past. We referred him to you and I believe you used him for various projects around your home, wood work and painting, patio cover, etc. our contract was filled in every detail. You never paid...

your deductible, which is against the law, and we do not commit insurance fraud. The price we gave you and what is written in the contract was completed. The patio cover was not in the contract. However when you wanted it done, we referred you to [redacted] who could do the job cheaper since you did not want to pay your deductible and basically keep insurance funds allocated to do your repairs properly. If you wanted to follow your insurance scope and what it supposed to cost with your deductible included, which is what your legally supposed to do, we could have done more for you. We can give you [redacted]’s # and address if you want so you can file a complaint against his work but our work was completed and completed correctly. In addition, the gap you see is a small gutter from the original structure. A valley metal flashing can be out there but then your gutter would be useless. Thank you and God Bless You.

As we said before, we are going to address all concerns as well as paint the new wood we replaced once the chance of rain is low and it's nice and sunny outside.  Your family was never threatened but it is concerning when your family says they spent the money owed to the company.  Is it not? Good day

I am rejecting this response because: This is an absolute lie. That was NEVER stated to your salesman. You gave us a lower quote after you asked me if we received other bids. Your work was sloppy in addition to your lies, as you had to come out a month later to fix a leak due to inadequate sealing. We demand you complete the work that was paid for or that you refund the amount we paid for the work on the porch, which is incomplete.
Regards,
[redacted]

My apologies for your insurance papers being confusing and our past discussions and the work you had [redacted] do for you. Simply explained like your adjuster explained it to you, your cost to do your work is $10,183.38. You explained to my salesman that you did not want to pay that especially not your deductible, which is illegal, but you aid you did not care because you were moving and selling the house. We gave you a bid for the main roof and gutters only and some wood work. You accepted the bid and we did the work. End of story. Later you were mad at the front porch and we explained we would be happy to do it for you but of course you did not want to send any money so we referred you. We apologize for the work done by someone else. We would be happy to accept your deductible and redo the front porch for you on a separate contract. God Bless.

I am rejecting this response because:
Regards,
[redacted]Their are more issues than painting of the wood that are to be address. You being the owner didnt even look at the sloppy job your crew did. We were only told to move are cars. We were never told your crew would be making it unsafe for us to get in and out of  our own home. We have already spoken to our insurance company they are aware of the situation. You were rude and had a threathing tone when you spoke to my mother and myself. You will get paid once your company has completed the whole job corectly. Once again instead of being a professional businessman and doing the right thing, your threating us. Which is unprofessional. All were asking is for the everything to be addressed and fixed corectly. We will be happy to pay the remainder.

I am rejecting this response because:[redacted],You had agreed to perform work, and you have not done it.  You have breached the contract.   You have prevaricated on numerousoccasions.  My wife and I had very positive interactions with all of your workers. No one has ever called anyone any names or yelled at anyone. Actually, we had very pleasant conversations with your workers and even invited [redacted] and [redacted] (two of your workers) todinner, but they had other plans. Regardless of your accusations, it is extremely unprofessional to quit (by text message which we still have) for anyreason and leave our home in disarray for months.   On July 12, 2015, you sent us an email saying that you would put a lien on ourproperty if we did not find someone to finish the work that you had failed to finish.  You wrote in your email that we must findsomeone to do it for under $1000.  Unfortunately,  no one will finish the work that you had started for that price.  We do not appreciate being threatened, bullied, blackmailed, or lied to.  We will not be swayed by your threats.  We have very detailed phone records which prove when you called and texted us. It is untowardthat you have not shown pride in your work nor kept your word.  I am deeply disappointed that your workers damaged our home and left countless nails and other debris in our yard.  The cost to finish your work is over the $1000 limit that you had established in your July 12 email.  The estimate we have received to replace the window is $965.00.  The price to remove the debris left by your crew is $75.00. The price of the window screens is $137.00. The total to finish your uncompleted work is $1177. Provided that you send us a written invoice/bill minus this amount ($1177), it will be paid. The amount owed to you for roof repairs is $1723.00. The total amount for the roof repairs is $4077.00. We have already paid you $2900.00. Additionally, upon receiving this payment, we would like another detailed and itemized receipt from you for the roof repairs mailed and emailed to us immediately.  If you understand and agree to what has been written above, send the invoice(s)/bill(s) to our home address.
Regards,

Dear Revdex.com,    My name is [redacted], owner of CJ's Roofing and Repairs, llc. My attorney was handling the [redacted] situation and the customer and I have reached a settlement. I deducted $1,000.00 off the contract price for the one window not changed out and gave them the other smaller window free of charge, materials & labor. The insurance does not pay $1,000.00 for one window so this is more than enough to satisfy them. Mr. [redacted] and Mrs. [redacted] both agreed and even sent me a final payment and a "Thank You" as well.    Thanks for your help.
