CJ's Tire & Automotive Services Reviews (6)

I am willing to return two tires for half of their proposed refund which would be about $451.86.  I think this would be agreeable by all parties.  I will drop off at CJ’S sinking spring.  I just need to know that they are aware of the drop off and what to do. [redacted]

On 10/5/2017 the Limerick CJ’s Tire serviced [redacted]’ 2013 [redacted]. On 10/6/17 [redacted] spoke to Scott P[redacted], the facility manager. Scott reviewed the security footage and had our IT Director send a copy to [redacted] for him to review as well. The damage to the underside of the bumper is...

consistent with a curb or a bump stop in a parking garage. There is also a cover that is missing on the bumper for a toe hook. All of these are on the bottom side of the bumper. Scott was told by [redacted] that “He hand washed the vehicle then drove it to Maryland and back twice, leaving the car overnight twice in a parking lot in Maryland before bringing the vehicle to us for service. When asked about the tow hook cover missing out of his front bumper he told me an automatic car wash knocked it out and he's getting that fixed.”After reviewing the video, which shows that the vehicle did not impact our lifts or was it parked next to a curb, we have concluded that the damage on the bottom of the bumper was not caused by CJ’s. The pictures indicate that the damage was not a onetime damage but rather a repetitive action. There are multiple scratches which would be consistent with having had scrapped the bottom of the bumper several times which could not have happened while in our care. We have proven that the allegations of damaging the bottom of the bumper were not caused by CJ’s.

We have contacted the customer and the customer will reach back out to us next week after the bodywork on his vehicle is completed.  We are taking responsibility for the damage.

Issue 1: [redacted] had his 2007 [redacted] serviced at our Lionville location on 7/10/2015. The spark plugs and ignition coils were replaced. During the next 2+ years of driving CJ’s was never made aware of any issues with the service from 7/10/15. The vehicle was serviced on 11/25/2016 and 1/2/2017...

for non-related services and we were not informed about any concerns with the 7/10/2015 service. On 10/26/17 [redacted] was contacted by CJ’s DM Bill H[redacted] in response to a social media posting about CJ’s. Bill H[redacted] informed [redacted] that the parts that were replaced over two years ago were Original Equipment Manufacturer equivalents. Mr. H[redacted] also stipulated that the price that was charged 2 years ago was the fair market price. Since then [redacted] has had concerns with their ignition coils and have made price adjustments. The 5 other ignition coils that were replaced in 2015 are still being used in the 2007 [redacted] and for this reason we do not feel it is fair to refund parts that are still working as the manufacturer intended. Mr. H[redacted] will communicate the explanation of charges.Issue 2: [redacted] had rear brake pads and rotors replaced on 1/2/17 on the 2007 [redacted]. On 1/11/2017 the 2007 [redacted] was brought back to CJ’s in Lionville and the damaged rotor was replaced under warranty and at zero cost to [redacted]. At no time after the warranty service were we made aware of any other issues with the brake service from January 2017. If we have an opportunity to inspect the brakes and we find any problems with the product, we will replace the damaged parts under warranty.

December 18, 2015Dear Revdex.com:In response to complaint ID#[redacted].The customer was informed that the repairs that were done likely would not provide complete resolution, They chose to have the minimum repairs done to save the cost, When the customer returned that conversation was revisited. At that...

point the customer requested a complete reimbursement which was denied. The resolution listed in the complaint [$195 refund for the labor) 1 find very reasonable. The customer has been notified of our offer. Thank You.Sincerely,Brian M

In response to the attached claim I would like to offer the customer a refund for the disputed amount ($903.72) upon the return of the tires. I do not feel obligated  to reimburse the customer for the work performed by either dealership that he is not satisfied with. I believe this resolution...

covers our responsibility in this matter. Thank you.
