C&K Home Remodeling was contracted to replace our Front Entry door and paid $3100 in June 2018. This was delayed due to various reasons such as the custom door being damaged during transit, the contractor being injured and unable to work for few months. To this date, he has stopped by a few times to do some pre-requisite prep work such as sealing a few windows, installing a PVC panel above the door etc. They have not installed the door to date or refunded the money.

Owner is fraud, avoid at all costs

At our initial visit with **and [redacted] they were shown photos of some previous bathrooms we have done to give them a general idea of our workAt this visit they were very undecided on what design they wanted to go with so we estimated a basic bathroom off of the small details that were given that they wanted at no time at this visit was it stated that they wanted shower doors nor were they told they would be receiving any specific items that were shown in the photo of our previous workThere were many emails exchanged between [redacted] and myself before the contract was drawn discussing what was included in the estimateThere contract specifically listed all items included in there bathroom shower doors were not included in there estimate or there contractDuring our initial email exchange it was brought to the attention of [redacted] that they would need to get a permit for the project, [redacted] declined to do so stating that he had done work before and didn't get one thenAfter the completion of the first bathroom the topic of shower doors were brought up, they stated they were unaware that a shower door was not included in there guest bathroomChis and [redacted] discussed the issue of shower doors not being included in person, at that time [redacted] stated that she would like a shower door installed and to let her know what the cost would be and she would pay for it, which she did.As for the master bathroom **and [redacted] had stated they wanted an open concept showerAfter the completion of the bathroom they decided they did not like their original idea, because after testing the shower they noticed some water splashes occurredDuring a text conversation [redacted] informed us that she spoke to her husband and they wanted to add a doorWe informed them that the door would cost around because it had to be made a custom size [redacted] then made claims that it was our faulty shower design that required them to need a door and we should be? responsible for paying for itKnowing that there shower was going to be open as they requested they had to have anticipated the chances of some water splashes in the bathroom, this can happen with any open shower concept regardless of the size of the opening. We again stated that we would not be paying for their door because it was not on their contractWe delivered all the contracted items they requesting and we can't be held responsible for paying for any changes they were choosing to make after completionAt that time they stated they would not pay their final payment we were owed until we delivered them a shower doorWe decided we would meet them halfway and pay for half the cost of the shower door and install it for them at no additional cost, to resolve the issue and get our final payment we were owed in a timely mannerWe informed them that they would have to purchase the shower door and we would deduct the from their final paymentAlthough they were ok with us paying half which they referred to as fair, they were not ok with having to actually go purchase the door themselves and insisted we must pay for and purchase the door upfrontWe explained that we cannot put out an additional for their door when they are already withholding the final payment we are owed.We then started receiving threatening emails from [redacted] with a new list of issues with the project, all of which were untrue, demanding that if we do not pay for her shower door she would not pay us our final payment until we fixed her newly compiled list of issuesThis list included replacing a towel that she claims was ruined by one of our staff, when asked for proof of this happening she didn't have the towel any longer, we would need to paint her daughters entire bedroom a color of her choice because she claimed we got a white spot of paint on her wall one of which was noted before painting and was previously there, she claimed we got paint on her daughter and sons rug which was false, and had to touch up several other areas of paint around door handles which was done several times because of people in their home touching it when it was wet and finally she wanted us to power wash her drivewayAt no time during the actual project were these items brought to our attention as an issue or anything that needed to be addressed until we refused to pay for their shower door. There are two remaining issues that are left unaddressed at this time:After completion of project [redacted] stated they were having issue with the hot water in one of their two shower heads in there master bathroom, even though we verified before completing the project that there were no issues with their shower temperature we agreed we would take a look at it during one of our email exchanges, but were unable to do because of our current situation with the projectThe possibility that insulation was not placed in the attic which was claimed in their final email to us, this was supposed to be done by an employee while we were away and we have not had the chance to verify with this person that it was done since the Jablonski's claimin closure **and [redacted] have an outstanding balance of $1,that is left unpaid, unnegotiable and we will be moving forward with legal action.Christopher ROwner

We had both of our full upstairs bathrooms remodeled by C&K Home Remodeling, LLC - along with all of the upstairs doors and closet doors, and new, pull-down attic stepsDuring the remodel of the 1st bathroom, I came home to find a shower rod & curtain covering the opening to the new showerI asked why no glass shower door since they were the pictures I was shown (from their *** page) and **sRinformed me that the shower door was not part of the contract and would be extraReluctantly, I agreed to pay to have them remove the shower curtain and install the doorIn my Master bath however, **Rinstalled a his & hers shower stall with a 38" opening between the two shower headsWhen you take a shower now, the opening is so wide that water gets all over the bathroom floor and the vanityWhen I notified **sRof the issue, she stated that they had no intention of installing a door and, "...shower doors are not included in your contract, we have fulfilled our cont
