My name is [redacted] ***I am writing in regards to a letter I received about a customer complaintIt states that we do not have proper pricingWhen you walk into the salon, we have a price list posted on the wallIt has all of the services, along with the pricesOn 8/25/17, a customer came in and had a friend with herThe one customer said she wanted her nails done and the other was unsureA few moments later, the unsure customer then wanted her nails done tooWhen the unsure customer asked about the full set of acrylic nails, she mentioned getting Shellac/gel polish on top of the setI told her that it is $extra and that the full set is $She said okay and I continued with her full setBefore we fully finish, we have customers pay their bill so they do not have to dig in their purses or get their keys while their nails are wetSo, before we did the Shellac, I then asked the customer to payShe said okayShe handed me a card and I rang it up on the credit card machineI handed her the card along with the receipt to signShe then said why did this come up as $I explained to her again that the Shellac is an additional $on top of the full set which is $and that also included taxesI then told her that if she wanted her money back, I could void the transactionShe said no, you already charged it so it's fineI asked again and she said just do the ShellacSo she then had her nails painted with the ShellacShe told the employee thank you and she, along with her friend leftShe seemed happy and I did not think it was an issueI hope this email helped clear the misunderstanding.Thank you, [redacted] ***

in and had a friend with her. The one customer said she wanted her nails done and the other was unsure. A few moments later, the unsure customer then wanted her nails done too. When the unsure customer asked about the full set of acrylic nails, she mentioned getting Shellac/gel polish on top of the set. I told her that it is $25 extra and that the full set is $28. She said okay and I continued with her full set. Before we fully finish, we have customers pay their bill so they do not have to dig in their purses or get their keys while their nails are wet. So, before we did the Shellac, I then asked the customer to pay. She said okay. She handed me a card and I rang it up on the credit card machine. I handed her the card along with the receipt to sign. She then said why did this come up as $56.45. I explained to her again that the Shellac is an additional $25 on top of the full set which is $28 and that also included taxes. I then told her that if she wanted her money back, I could void the transaction. She said no, you already charged it so it's fine. I asked again and she said just do the Shellac. So she then had her nails painted with the Shellac. She told the employee thank you and she, along with her friend left. She seemed happy and I did not think it was an issue.
