Claar and Son Contracting Reviews (2)

To Whom It May Concern:Regarding the BBB Complaint ID [redacted] Owner of Claar and Son Contracting offers thefollowing explanation and resolution. When remodeling bathroom, I could not update “all” plumbing. Plumbing that could be reached, withoutremoving ceilings, walls, etc. was... replaced. We could not reach all plumbing as there was no access to it.There was no water damage to the ceiling in the living room, at the time of the leak during the remodel.Water was found in the light fixture and was fixed; however the drywall was not damaged. After the remodel was complete Ms. [redacted] called and said there was a leak and it damaged the samearea below in the living room. I responded and investigated the leak. After removing a 4’ x 4’ drywall areain the ceiling around the light where the first leak was discovered. I found a copper pipe and a drain thatwas unreachable in the remodel, and was installed years ago by a previous homeowner was the problem. The soft copper pipe had pin holes thru it and water sprayed thru them. This pipe was shown to Ms. [redacted] and I still have the pipe with the pin holes for evidence. I fixed everything and did not charge her. Therefore, if something I replaced or did during the remodeling process has failed, I will pay to have it fixedat my cost, not to exceed $ 800.00SincerelyA,, [redacted] OwnerClaar & Son Contracting
