Response to Revdex.com Customer: *** ***Guest is stating that we refuse to refund a night’s stay due to their complaint of smoke smell We did not refuse to issue refund however we are not able to issue a refund as they booked their room through on online travel agency (Expedia) and they
paid them for the room If Expedia is refusing to refund them for that, I can’t do anything about it They are subject to Expedia’s terms of use which they agreed to when the booked and paid for the room I would suggest they contact Expedia to get their refund as that is who they paid for the room.As for the complaint, sometimes people break the rules and while we attempt to catch and stop them, it isn’t always possible We would have offered to move them to another however I am not sure if they even wanted that Jim B***General ManagerClackamas Inn & Suites

I am rejecting this response because: Hotels.com said that they had called your hotel after putting me on a hold, after talking to your hotel's representative the Hotels.com representative told me that you are refusing to refund the first night which we did not stay in because of the smokingSo either your hotel is lying to me or the representative is, either way I am sure it was recorded when they talked to youAs far as stoppig the smoking your staff did no such thing to try and stop the client and basically blew me offAnd no another room would not have helped as your hotel smelled of smoke throughout the halls and I will not put my son's health at risk due to your lack of safety and health obligations as an establishment that calls themselves non-smoking.
