The customer tried on gown 11-23-at that time we found out the manufacture had made the gown to largeWe returned gown to manufacture to either replace or cut downGown was not special order to measurements only length of gown was order special, customer was told hem would not be perfect until she purchased shoes to accommodate length she ordered.Gown came back from manufacture customer tried on Jan she was pleased with the fit know that it had to have adjustments her gown was signed off to order a size that was to accommodate hip measurement so gown would fit the largest measurementAt time of ordering 50% was required down customer only put down 1/we order gown because of time frame.Gown left our store without being paid for leaving a 75% balanceOn Feb The gown was taking to a seamstress but was told the gown could not be altered until it was paid in full on that date they found fault with the manufacture workmanship and did pay 25% more on the gownI told seamstress to repair the manufacture problems and we would pay. With all the problems we felt it our responsibility to pay for the alterations on the gown for compensation to customer. We paid for manufacture poor workmanship and for customer alterations. The gown was delivered to the customers hotel because they did not pay the balance until Mar 16-two days before wedding. At that time the seamstress had the customer put the dress on to confirm fit The only alteration needed was tuck in lace that was loose at hipWe feel we did go above and beyond by letting gown go un paid until days before wedding and by paying for customer alterations. The mother told me that the gown fit perfect and her daughter look perfect on her wedding day. That is what our store wants the customer to look beautiful on her special day.I feel at this time we have done everything to accommodate the customer with paying for alterations on her gown, and allowing it to leave our store without being paid in full.Sincerely, [redacted] Owner
