Clarion Hotel & Convention Center

Review: I stayed at the Clarion Hotel located at [redacted], NJ 08234 on Friday, Jul 19-21, 2013. I had a suite and paid $360.00 for my stay and it was horrible. The suite did not have a refrigerator or microwave as advertised. There were bugs in the room. The staff was rude and were not accommodating in dealing with the issues. I was expecting that they would discount the room and or a complimentary stay at a Choice Hotel at another time.Desired Settlement: Apology - Partial Refund - Credit Card and/or complimentary stay at Clarion Hotel at another date.

Review: Reserved 2 nights stay at this Hotel under the impression of a 1 Bdrm Suite w/ living room including Sofa Sleeper. Accomodations were to accomodate 4 people. 2 Adults & 2 Children, ages 16 & 17. Was also to include Wi Fi Internet access. Upon arrival when we entered the room it was not clean, ie: the floors were dirty, the bathroom sink was drain was broken, the bath tub was not clean. Noticed there were not enough towels, so called down to Front Desk. (We were on the 6th Floor) Were told we had to come down to the Front Desk to get more. My Son opened up the Sofa to find a piece of Plywood instead of a Mattress. We were told upon inquiry that they did not rent rooms with a Sleeper any more, and they did not have ant roll aways. I tried to get on the Internet to find other Accomodations & even had to call down for help & could not access their Internet. It was late & my Wife, and kids were tired and laid a blanket on the floor for their bed.

In the morning, my Wife & I went down to check out the Breakfast that was offered & had to wait 45 minutes to even be able to get in their Dining Room. While waiting we spoke with several guest who were also disgusted with their stay there. I left with my Wife to McDonalds where I could access the Internet & find other Accomodations. I found another place to stay that was the only thing available. I also called Priceline, and tried to speak with a Mgr at the Hotel. I was informed out of the $263.00 I spent for 2 nights they would refund me $82.10. I informed them that this was completely unnacceptable, that this wasn't even a refund for the night I didn't stay there. Now that is has been 4 weeks since, have finally been told that they would refund me an additional $49. This is still not acceptable. My children slept on the floor, and it still appears that I am the only one that is losing here.Desired Settlement: I desire a complete refund for a complete nightmare. Splitting the cost at the beginning would have seemed right at that time. Now that it seems to be a fight to even be treated as a valued Customer, I want a complete refund. I feel they did not take care of a paying Customer when presented with a huge problem that needed their attention.
