This review is based on how a wrong charge to my credit card was addressed. On January 11, 2015 my wife and I (along with 3 other couples) had dinner at the Black Sheep Bar & Grill which is a restaurant in the Clarion Hotel in San Angelo. Each couple was to pay their own bill. The waiter took each couples method of payment and charges I am assuming to enter into their registers. I was paying with a credit card, when the waiter brought me my bill to sign, it included items that were not ordered and was in the amount of $75.72. I did not sign the bill and pointed out to the waiter the mistakes, he acknowledged the mistake, took my card back to be credited and the correct bill provided. He returned with the correct bill $58.40 which I applied a tip to and signed ($73.40). He told me he had credited my card, however, no credit receipt was provided. About 10 days later I was reviewing my credit card account on line and noticed both charges were applied to my card and paid to the Clarion Hotel. I took a copy of the charges to the restaurant and showed the Asst Mgr, and Mgr the mistake. They admitted the mistake had been made, but could not credit my card. I then disputed the charge with my credit card company. I went back to the restaurant to inform them of my dispute. I was then told to talk with the hotel general manager (Eddie Navarro) and that he could take care of the charge. I talked with Eddie that day, gave him the receipt information, credit card company contact information and he told me he would take care of it. ( This was in January.) Toward the end of February , received a letter from the credit card company reinstating the charge since they had not heard from the Clarion. I disputed the charge again and went down to the Clarion again, was not able to see the general manager, but talked with the Sales Manager and the credit card company. The credit card company made the decision to credit me the $75.72 and not pursue collecting from the Clarion. While I am not out the $75.72 personally, I feel it is the responsibility of the hotel/restaurant to make it right and not the credit card company. While everyone I talked with at the restaurant and hotel admitted to the mistake, none would take action to correct it. Resolution to this issue did not occur until around March 13., 2015.

I will not recommend the restaurant or hotel to anyone.
