I am rejecting this response because of some issues with the above statementFor one I never had a mechanic look at the vechicle as the sales shop stated they would look over the truck for any repairs that may need to be doneI arranged all this within hours of buying the vechicle and stated my concerns while test driving it as wellI even asked if something came up repair wise in the next couple weeks would they work with me on it, they said yesThat weekend I took it to rifle to show my boyfriend, we noticed one of the tires didnt match and the current spare matched the tiresWe noticed that the spare also looked flat so we took it down from under the bed attempted to air it back up and the sidewall was blown out, which is why I was driving on my spareTHIS was found out right after being told by Kevin that there was no reason I couldnt drive it to florida in its current conditionI had noticed the original sound I heard with the salesman Kevin in the truck when I test drove it was getting louder and my Abs And brake light started coming onI then took it to a local mechanic close to work who personally attempted to reach CLARKS AUTO and even spoke with KEVIN personally about the damages that were found but they refused to even inspect the damage, let alone contact meIt was noticed immediately once inspected that the rear differential was bad and would need a complete overhaulThey also stated that the brakes were newer but whomever installed them did it wrong and it was causing a misconnection which triggered the lights- as explained by a mechanicI was told the truck would not be driveable if these conditions got any worse and the truck would be expected to fail sooner than later with even day to day drivingI then had to spend another on the repairs for the rear differential ( which even the repair shop stated if they had done a routine inspection it would have been an obvious needed repair) on top of the origional amount spent on the spare tire since the one they included was blown out and irrepairable which they claimed they could do nothing aboutI do still think I should be reimbursed for the damages that were there prior to purchase as I was lied to by KEVIN when told the truck was clear of any damageThis shows how much they care about profit over thier customers wellbeing which scares me with anyone involved in future salesHopefully they will do right and pay for me to have a fully functioning truck that was agreed upon in the first place as I gave them a fully functioning year newer immaculate sedan.

I am rejecting this response because:
Regards,
*** *** The payment wasn't paid due to the vehicle being a lemon and the repairs are more the the worth of the vehicleI complained several times about the fact they told me the only thing that was wrong with the vehicle was the back tires goes flat after purchasing the vehicle it began to have major problems I took it to a mechanic who told me the repairs will be over 3,dollars, Clark's auto refused to put me in a better vehicle or give me my money back so I refuse to pay for a vehicle that will cost me tripple of the worth of the vehicle.[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, the consumer must give a reason why they are rejecting the responseIf the consumer does not provide a reason the complaint will be closed Answered]

long as they made their payments on time They didn't make another payment and the car was repossessed

I am rejecting this response because the information once again is inaccurate. The business gave me the 500.00 as I had called and stated I had a change of heart about the deal not even 24 hours later and felt it was very unfair with the noise and possible repairs I was going to have to pay for when I gave them a mint condition kia forte sedan 2014! Thats 14 years newer than the truck with less milage and I recieved the truck and 2000 cash total for when that car alone was worth at least 10,500. Since they were not willing to undo the trade I asked for an additional 2,000 to cover additional repairs if needed. Kevin laughed and said no way that the manager will give me an extra 500.00 and is reluctant to even do that and if you bring in the truck we are happy to look over it again for you and make sure there are no leaks and no repairs that need to be made. It may be the customers responsibility to get a vechicle inspection but isnt it your responsibility as a buisiness to provide accurate information and to be honest to a potential buyer?! They would not even agree to look at the truck while it was apart to see what their mechanics they trust looking over dozens of cars and trucks they sell to potential buyers everyday may be missing and causing buyers more funds in repairs from the 'reliable' vechicles they claim to sell used. I am still surprised by how little they are willing to do on behalf of good faith and physical record of damages paid by the customer due to fault by the improper mechanics they claim to have imspect these vechicles prior to sale.

This customer may
choose to reject our explanations and not accept the documentation we provided
that had her signature on it acknowledging that she was responsible for the

Regarding the tire! Many
vehicles do not have a spare tire when we purchase them and we do not generally
provide one if it does not come with it. If it was with the vehicle then at
least the customer has a usable rim  if
she chooses to purchase a spare tire for the vehicle.  Again, spare tires are generally what
actually come with the vehicle when it is purchased.
As to the other
complaints, we sell used vehicles and it is the customer's responsibility to do
their due diligence "before" they purchase a vehicle. When
customers have problems we attempt to assist when it is possible.  A used vehicle is exactly that - USED.  Used vehicles are not typically in the same
shape as a "NEW" vehicle especially when they are 15 years old.  Although, we are constantly surprised that
individuals expect a 10-20 year old vehicle to run and drive like a car off the
showroom floor.  We do not intentionally sell
vehicles known to be defective. Customers are encouraged to test drive the
vehicle and have their mechanic look over the vehicle. Again, it is the
customer's responsibility to inspect a vehicle before they purchase it.    We sell all vehicles "as is"
and with no warranty. If you read the statement, customer signed,
that was uploaded, you will see it implicitly states that "you (the customer) will pay all costs for any repairs. The dealer assumes no responsibility for any repairs regardless of any oral statements about the vehicle".  Again, it is because we care about our customers that we compensated buyer $500 to defer some of the costs of the repairs she stated  needed to be done.   She did accepted the $500.00 and now she is continuing to complain. We have a very good and loyal customer base with many repeat customers. In the last 4 years this is only the 2nd complaint, to the best of my knowledge, to the Revdex.com, which speaks
to how well we do take care of our customers.
