Review: I received inconsistent advice regarding how to proceed with by bankruptcy case. On my initial visit with an attorney there I was told to start my annuity payments as soon as possible before proceeding with my bankruptcy. When it came time to file I was told that my annuity payments would not be protected and that I would lose those benefits if I proceeded with the bankruptcy. So I consulted another attorney I was advised to go a different route with my bankruptcy case. On July 10 I had a phone conversation with [redacted] and ask to get a refund. I was told it would take four weeks to get the refund. I waited and after five weeks I gave another phone call the office. The female assistant assured me that they were working on it and that she would give me a call back as soon as possible. A week goes by and I call back regarding my case and it was if they hadn't heard from you at all. I then had to schedule a phone consultation just to talk to [redacted] regarding my refund again because no one at the office could handle the refund but her. So again I wait a week for my schedule phone consultation and on the day of my phone consultation she did not speak to me. Her assistant tells me that the check has been put in the mail this morning. Click! No sorry for the inconvenience, no sorry for the misunderstanding, nothing. It has been almost 2 months and I am still wait for a refund. This is a unprofessional operation from the top down starting with [redacted]. I wouldn't recommend this firm to anyone.Desired Settlement: To receive my refund as soon as possible.

Review: I contacted the business toward the end of August to cancel my bankruptcy case. I have been making $100 per month payments since December. I stopped making payments for the month of July. I have talked with [redacted] in billing several times and promised to call me back or e-mail me when a refund check would be mailed. I talked with [redacted] on Friday, November 8th and he told me a check was being mailed. I have not yet received a refund check as of November 30th. I talked with [redacted] twice since November 8th and he promised to check on my refund and return my call or e-mail me. He verified my phone number and e-mail address on file. He has not yet contacted me by phone or e-mail. The policy of the business is to mail refunds within 30 days.Desired Settlement: I have not received a refund check.

My apologies to Mr. [redacted] for the delay. He was extremely patient, but I fell behind on my end and am happy to have resolved the matter.
