First and foremost, we at Clarks Garage and Marina love to serve all Veterans. We never have an issue with helping out a Vet. We were put in a position where we had to ask Mr. [redacted] to leave due to his unexcusable behavior while in our business....

He said he had killed over 47 people and if he wanted me taken out he would do it. This threat resulted in us calling the police to have him removed from our business. He is no longer allowed in our business and we will have no contact with him any longer. We completed all the work that he authorized and will not be refunding any money to Mr. [redacted].

Mr [redacted] is lying. He first told me that he had been threatened by others and that I was not a threat to him. That's when I told him of my time in the military and that I don't make threats. The police were not called. There is no police report. Mr [redacted] is a crook. I paid for parts they kept and they will not allow me back to retrieve them. They charged me $325 each for parts that cost them $118.. He told me the problem when I brought back my boat was that I ran it out of gas. If it was only out of gas why was I charged $175 to rebuild carb? I was not aware that rebuilding carbs put gas in the tank. They did not complete but ONE of three problems. They fixed the steering. They still didn't get the engine running properly. I took it to another dealer whom repaired it in less than an hour and only cost $79. They are so incompetent they didn't even attempt to fix trailer lighting. They used my boat as a work bench and left used hardware on the bow platform. I told them that I was concerned about it being outside in the weather because the boat had new upholstery. They promised to move it inside the next day. It spent four months outside. Upholstery rivets rusted. They made so many promises that simply weren't kept. They promised to order parts and have them shipped overnight... A week later they arrived. They promised to order parts so that when their technician returned to work he could start on it right away. That didn't happen either. I know two others that had work done there and they left things disconnected. I had same problem with an engine change where they failed to tight clamps resulting in loss of fluids. The s e people are crooks in my opinion. Ask them why tow companies aren't allowed on the property. When somebody exposes their poor work they simply ban them from coming back.
