We called a clarks employee on April 19th,2020 for a maytag gas dryer that was not working and refrigerator ice maker that was not working to our home.He diagnosed that the dryer needed some parts replaced which will be 270 dollars and advised us to buy a new dryer.My wife said that he was talking in circles and did not know what to do.We called another company *** and we were advised that the starter needs to be replaced and the part cost was 17 dollars.He did that and the dryer is working fine since then. For the icemaker,he advised us to take everything out of freezer overnight and turn it off and restart in the morning and the ice maker will start working.That did not do the job and the icemaker still has a problem for which we have called ***.
He charged us 120 dollars and he will send the receipt once he reaches home.He was about 70 years old and did not give anything to us in writing.
I called him half hour after he left my home to complain and he said he will refund all the money that he charged.That never happened and I disputed with my credit card company to raise a dispute and I was just informed that they are allowing the charges.
I think he was a fraud and may be impersonating somebody but the charge on my credit card came from Clark appliances so I will not deal with this company.

My wife just called and the same gentleman answerd the phoine and hung up when asked about the refund.

I purchased a *** in 2015, an *** and ***. I called the *** company when the *** started to leak (1-6-20). The *** determined the *** could not be repaired. I was told that I would receive 2 options either a replacement or a cash buy out. I have contacted the *** company at lest 20 times. The latest reason for not making an offer to me is that *** has not responded to an email sent to them regarding this issue.
